  • wow people trying to moral and racist at the same time. the pot calling the kettle black, maybe?

  • @GoryankaLianka i agree with u the japanese losers r all murders!! This slaughter of dolphins and whales has to stop NOW!!

  • I also hate japanese, and, if like someone said "most of them dont eat at all" so why this "most" dont do nothing?! Its a lie, all japanese r murders!! --- Ф топку всех тварей

  • @hansjorgenolsen Vi har alle forskjellige meninger antar jeg ;)

  • @hansjorgenolsen Not all Norwegians. I am from Norway and I don't eat whale

  • 0:32 if i hear this while swiming im more likely to think Jaws is around then a blue whale...

  • How the hell did the critter-cam stick to the blue-whale? I hope they didn't stab it lol

  • @xVxRayJohnathaNxVx Their hide is too thick for them to feel anything.

  • @xVxRayJohnathaNxVx nah they used a suction cup to stick it to the whale's hide

  • @Justaguy124,

    Yes, all humans are bad.

  • 16 japanese disliked

  • Fucking japanese people, are the eating and killing every animal? the kill everything! like delphines! THUMMBS UP if you want the japanese gotta stop kill the animals!

  • fuck you whale

  • That is just amazing. Whales are so fantastic.

  • Wow, not all Japanese eat whale's, what a bunch of racists, there's more then 100 murderers in the UK/USA, does that mean all the people there are bad?...

  • @Justaguy124 Exactly, most Japanese don't eat whale at all.

  • @Justaguy124 more than a hundred in USA?? in Japan there are more than 20'000 kills every year of the whale kind (icluding dolphins, watch movie The Cove). The problem with Japanese is that they don't solve problems among themselves ;(

  • The main reason hunting Blue Whales would be a problem is (1) They are quite rare, and (2) They are bigger then most fishing boats.

  • No one on Earth eats Blue Whales....The only whales that are eaten in Japan commercially are Minky Whales

  • The A call sounds kinda soothing to me.

  • OMFG A SWIMMING D!CK

  • @mindfuqq well if you had writing skills, you would have been able to point my mistake. Being the douchbag you are, you, instead, show me how much of an immature person you are. It's pathetic to see this coming from someone older, but I shouldn't have expected more, coming from a man that uses mindfuqq(play-on-word mind fuck) in their username. Btw, I copied and pasted that data. What if I'm retarded? Do you look down on those who are born retarded? I thought black people were into equality?

  • @rockin175 I get it, he just sucks at pointing it out what he was really saying. Sure I copied and pasted that info, and I didn't double check it, so I don't understand why both of you people have to be douche bags about it. Here's the reason why I didn't get what he said. He was focusing my attention on the second sentence since he started with a retorical question, followed by his statement "and you call the 40% blah blah blah." I'd rather be retarded then a couple of douche bags.

  • @mindfuqq lol... He doesn't get it

  • So... did we just leave the camera on it? O.o

  • It'd be very scary to encounter a Blue Whale, they're like So giant (lol), but at the same time magnificent.

I haven't got this clear, can we humans hear their "songs"? or only through audio devices?

  • @MehdiGlz We can most likely hear it but not interpret it. Because we are unable to actually use sonar, the clicks probably just sound like clicks, not echoing signals.

  • It'd be very scary to encounter a Blue Whale, they're like So giant (lol), but at the same time magnificent

  • Blue Whales purr. Fancy that.

  • is it just me or is watching this video kind of scary?

  • wow awsome! :DD

  • i would like to c more of that camera when they stick it to the whales back. i wonder what they do in the deep of the ocean

  • That's so funny. The biggest animal on earth eats the smallest!

  • @Afterschave Krill aren't the smallest animal on earth. Insects are smaller, Zooplankton are smaller. There is a lot more smaller organisms out there..

  • dang i would poop my pants if i were in a small boat next to a blue whale!

  • @Monferno22 i would shit ma pants if im swimming underwater and then sudennly it goes dark and i look up and is a giant fucking blue whale

  • hardcore techno wales

  • I can only imagine the size and power of this animal's glorious genitalia.

  • I was scared when I went to the beach that had colorful fish in it, imagine one with a whale next to you!

  • Trolololol @ RBranta

  • Well mister President! Will you make a decision and take action regarding the irresponsibles behing the Golf OIL SPIL! Hoping you have read me. Keeping the head under the sand will not get you votes! You must take drastic actions against BP. They should go through a TRIAL!!

  • Wow that whale is big and scary. We need to kill all of these sea monsters to make our beaches safe and to save the endangered krill.

  • @kernelkertz i'll kill your ass too, with a big dildo motherfucker

  • @kernelkertz lol, endangered krill, lol

  • @kernelkertz you are fucking insane. we need to kill people like you to save the nature and beautifull animals like blue whales

  • @kernelkertz I'm assuming you're kidding, right?

  • @kernelkertz Sea monsters? u don't know what you're talking about. These are magnificent mamals. People should protect them instead of kill them. People who love their beach fun over endangered species are selfish and heartless if you ask me. Keep in mind, these animals were on our planet long before any of us were on it.

  • @kernelkertz

    Haha, You need be shot.

    hehe krill

  • Imagine being stranded in the ocean all alone and then you turn around and a blue whale is staring right at you. Just thinking of that makes me sht my pants.

  • oh wow a blue whale

  • @xxfinisherxx, what did you expect to see when you typed "Blue Whale" in the search box?

  • I love whales so did my grandfather.I hope one day I get to see these amazing creatures. Seriously some humans! Killing these creatures.no need for it some people think they can do what they like to creatures it's there world to.this world is not just for us humans! I have been looking up whale tours .and like the sound of whale calls.:)

  • @rachdreams, look, all the evidence seems to be pointing out the fact that we (humans) can do what we want, who is going to stop us?

  • @R6rYamaha just cause no one can stop us means nothing, im sure serial killers say the same thing. just because you can do it and get away with it doesnt mean do it anyway

  • @Ethooo1993 No one loves Blue Whales as much as I do, but "what will be will be" and if its thier time to go then so be it, and if its Humans that do it then thats whats meant to be....you do realise that 100's of species go extinct each year, these only get noticed because they are fucking huge!

  • @R6rYamaha ye they do because of people, sooner or later people are going to end up killing the planet and either die with it or end up in space or a differnent planet which is unlikely

  • @Ethooo1993 we will be long gone by the time that happens!

  • @R6rYamaha long gone where? dead? id say there will be nothing alive by the time humans are gone

  • @Ethooo1993, you are not inteligent enough to have this conversation with me.

  • @R6rYamaha ye your pretty much a selfish dickhead and i really dont want to have it. thinkin your a smart guy you loser

  • @R6rYamaha umadbro?

  • Fuck Japanese People Who Eat This Magnificent Creature.

  • @enteradj fucking japanese people who got raped by a tsunami

naaah but i bet the whales were like "muthaafuckaaaaa"

  • @enteradj The Japanese people eats salmon, tuna, squid, octopus, shrimp...

I never heard about the japanese people eating a blue whale...

  • @beautifultulio - you need to check "whaling in japan" wikipedia page sir/madam

  • @enteradj Ount... I'm so sorry,excuse my ignorance.

  • @enteradj 90% of normal everyday japanese citizens dont even know that whale or dolphin is eaten in japan and most say they wouldnt eat it if offered. the only reason whaling takes place in japan is because its a HUGE cash cow for the japanese government, stop getting all your facts from wikipedia you racist fuck tard.

  • Comment removed

  • @jcudal32 So 70% disagree with whaling and the other 40% agree with whaling? lmfao and you call the 40% retards .... Sorry i found that very funny.

  • @jcudal32 LOL maybe you should learn simple math before you call other people retards.

  • @theJLF181 thanks for pointing that out. Hey don't get the wrong idea. I was just trying to post a quick comment, so I copied and paste that data from a social news site. I didn't see the mistake until you mentioned it, so thank you for pointing it out.

  • @enteradj You mean, fuck Japanese who eat this animal to extinction. Nothing wrong with eating it. But there is something wrong with killing over 1000 of them each fucking year.....

  • @enteradj actually seems like they'd taste pretty good

  • @enteradj If you are pure vegetarian, i respect your comment...!! but if you eat chicken, pork, beef, fish then i dont think you are in any position to comment about what others eat.... because EVERY creature is magnificent in this world in their own way and have right to live as much as others....

  • @anup313 - dear anup i am pure vegetarian darling

  • @anup313 Including Insects and Arachnids!

  • @enteradj its called the circle of life. live with it.

  • Damn cant we leave this planet alone for the animals :(

  • @WoOTfoOT where do you suggest we go if we leave it to the amimals?

  • that would be freaky being in the water and a blue whale right next to you

  • @darkacro101 well i dont think it would be freaky..more like an experience...its not gonna harm you...just like a giant sea cow really

  • @darkacro101 I agree, I'd actually shit myself, I mean, it's huge!!

  • How strange, awesome and terrifying would it be if you jumped off a boat and looked down and you were right above a whale XD

  • @narutofan966 lmao narutofan...i think that all the time!!! now add that drum beat and the water would turn fesces brown

  • I think blue whales are the most amazing and special creatures. Truly gentle giants! It's so great some people only want to undersand them a little better instead of killing them, using them or being afraid. I understand being afraid, they are so massive, but mostly they are very harmless and we don't normally even see them.

  • Do you have any more informations ? I need this video for My project :D

  • Critter Cam FTW!!

  • these things made me scared of all whales. big or small. if i was ina boat and saw this thing, id shit my insides out. there HUGE

  • they wouldn't hurt you...they just want some krill! : )

  • cute

  • imagine being in a boat fishing and one of those things come up aside your boat i think everyone would shyt lol.

  • the concept of sentients and self awareness even at basic levels are mind boggling we could very well be killing an animal that has a sense of itself and culture. how anyone could hunt these animals i will never know

  • Well obviously...humans are definitely not the only living beings with emotions or even "culture" on Earth. We have a very special planet.

  • @MsAzure77 people are blind i am constantly arguing with this japanese conservative who insists because some australians kill dingoes i and even though i oppose that as much as whaling i am a hypercrit. there is far to much political bullshit going on

  • So amazing, wish I could get that close to one.

  • So these whales are Canadian, they use the Eh call :P

  • THANKS for posting

  • massa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Anyone know how they get the camera to stick onto the whale so good?

  • duct tape, my friend.

lol just kidding. in hte video the guy says suction cup

  • Comment removed

  • @fiendin281 they use prick stick

  • The eyyyyyyyy! call, eyyyyyyy baby

  • blue whales are cute and they rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @9999anand

    Are you 14 years old?

  • Whales scare me... So do sharks... And any other sea anamal bigger then a bus.

  • Come on. A blue whale can't eat you (doesn't even have teeth, only beards). They're gentle giants. Won't even attack you, probably won't even see you, being so small.

A Great White shark is, of course, totally different. But a White shark is not bigger than a bus... is just the exact size of a medium sized bus (hehehe)

  • still... its kinda scary.... a huge-ass sea creature...

  • i agree, imagine u swiming i peacefully in the water and the u feel a rumbling sound n the whale passes below u or above and u wonder, where the light go?

  • You have nothing to fear from a huge animal that is slower than a bus and doesn't have a mouthful of sharp flesh eating teeth...sharks I hate, but whales are totally different. Imo they are way more intelligent than sharks too.

  • @retrogamer32X same here!!

  • @retrogamer32X blue scare me more then orcas

  • @fernandogt90 Why? They're not carnivorous, they don't bite. If you're floating alone in the ocean and a blue whale finds you it would simply ignore you.

  • @LesPaul2006 i really don't know,is just that their size freaks me out(or maybe its face)

  • @retrogamer32X I'm scared of any sea animal bigger than my thumbnail

  • @retrogamer32X bigger than a fucking school bro lol

  • i see that you know them personally, say hi to them for me will ya

  • Hmm good forever

  • They are just so amazing... so sad that humans are so hard on whales.

  • i wish i was a whale

    lol

just being in the water all day and being known as the largest animal ever lived

  • you know something

If u were a whale you would have the ability totalk, Play or do something like you are doing in the present one

    ?

  • yaah i herd that whales are extremely intelligent and have good chemistry with humans.....

  • Well.. Is the biggest animal/creature lived of all time=]

  • The largest living creature on the surface of this planet would be the Giant Redwood Secoya tree. The laergest living structure would be the Great Barrier Reef and the greatest living organism we know has to be the Earth itself.

  • so what ?

  • The meaning of a blue whale call? Does this imply human meaning? Or Blue Whale meaning? B/c without drawing a distinction between the various types of understanding relevant to each species, this topic may become convoluted and be less than academic.

It's probably as simple as a mating call, or a call to negotiate territory between other big whales in order to establish a territory without coming to blows.

  • Then again, if it is a SONG we're talking about, maybe we CAN discuss blue whale song-dialogue as sharing a sort of kindredship with human musicians who communicate on-stage with their instruments as a similar process.

Think of 2 musicians as 2 blue whales... both of which communicate in a way that resonates with the other to maximum benefit. Having the capacity to fill each other with beautiful things, resonating very deeply is a way to encode certain information. Unspoken words that carry

  • sometimes i give a low moan out too but this is a family station so i will keep this story clean as those beautiful whales.

  • my penis is bigger

  • they like sa monsters =O

  • only chuck norris could defeat a blue whale

  • :-))))))))))

  • Thats right! Round house kick to the left dorsal fin!

  • He has an aquarium for them

  • I would like to mutate wings on me and fishskin between my toes, that way i would be AQUA/FLYING MAN!

  • This is neat thanks for learning more about them for the human race:)

  • They look and sound so beautiful and majestic.

  • nice beard brah. whales are incredible.

  • More signs of the coming of Vashog

  • "Nearly 1000 ft down"

Actually, according to the figures, it exceeds 1000 ft

  • I'm guessing that it was calibrated for the level of water as 0, the height of the whale above the surface may have made up for the extra 7ish feet....

  • Actually the figure shown is 307.8 m - 1009 ft 10 in. The camera was on its back meaning its body was below the camera (and therefore the depth gauge). Hence it was ENTIRELY lower than 1000ft.

  • I guess I should have used a calculator, there may be other variables as well. Considering they did the experiments not us. I'm sorry I don't try to point out pointless flaws in national geographic videos. They are only other humans as well. I don't see you doing blue whale research, so who cares?

  • Granted, this is quite pedantic but as a zoology PhD holder, science is my career ! I have not studied whales, felines and bears are my speciality and I can tell you that NG is FULL of errors !

  • Thats great that you have a Phd. I'm glad you try to flaunt it on youtube, very professional. What does depth on a camera have to do with proving your knowledge? Do you think a simple conversion makes you appear so intelligent? Everywhere in the world, reknown sources are full of error. Even some of the things you learnt in pursuit of your PhD will probably be proven incorrect given time. It's how humanity works, you studied that of another being that was accepted as fact.

  • I was merely stating my context, I note you felt enough to respond initially. I note you made an error yourself in that response !

  • Fair enough my statement in a view of possible variation may have ben incorrect, I was simply trying to state a possible variation.

  • Let us have a mutual respect for each other........

  • Very well then.

  • Bcall sound scary :P

  • i love blue whales. They could probably completely annihilate a boat if they weren't so nice.

  • @OrangeAndBlack1000 so true man

  • The woman sounds like the gps voice on test drive unlimited

  • Lol she does aswell Nice to point that out :)

  • where is pinocchio

  • Beautiful and adorable sounds of the Blue Whale.

  • It was a suction cup, they didn't stab the camera into the whale's back.

  • nice

  • awesome! way better than the BBC one. This is totally awesome

  • The "BBC one" was much more educational...although the BBC didn't inhumanely stab a camera into a blue whales back either

  • the whale wouldnt have felt the stab anyway, they have a very thick coat of blubber

  • how many liters water do they drink

  • why didnt the whale eated the poeple up

  • Because blue whales only eat krill, so there not a threat to humans.

  • aha cool

  • yeah but they're agressive enough to kill you if you annoy them.

  • So don't annoy them. LEAVE BRITNEY (i mean blue whales) ALONE!!!

  • didn't you ever see finding nemo?

  • no i didnt
