hmm, im not sure about this. his voice is sort of whiney and difficult to listen to after like 2 minutes. wonderwall is a really tough song to cover becuase it is so massive, but they did an okay job at it. but as other people have said, no cover can beat oasis.

Hmm, I certainly would not call this emo, it is emotional though.. which kinda contradicts what I just said, haha. ;)

But ya, there is some really good emo music out there, emo music just gets mistaken for fallout boy and that cheap shit, but there a lot of really good quality emo bands that sing about real important issues. But if emo isn't your kind of thing that is fine. :)

I agree with you 100% Cartel is a good band and there are alot of bands out there that are good.. And just like how its dumb for kids to like bands just because their friends like them, it is also dumb for people to hate a certain band just because they think their emo. Theres way more to life than worrying about stupid shit. And this is an amazing cover. The Almost also did a very good cover of this song too. :)
