  • 1975! WOW.......these times are sorely missed. If TIna had big mammories she would have been a a bigger megastar than she was! Her eighties stuff was not as good as this.

  • Plz tell me that is'nt Ike lol! No wonder he was very insecure!

  • i <3 this song so much.(no homo)

  • Doesn't Tina Turner look taller in this vid than she does today? She's always worn heels, so that can't be it.

  • Ike Turner may have had some..eeh..attitude problems, but you can´t take away that he was a musical genious. Way too underrated in rock´n roll I think.

  • amazing fascinating, I LOVE TINA TURNER!!! LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • This song is so awesome!

  • my dad told me all about tina, ike & particularly, the ikettes. what happened to the ikettes after the breakup? did they go with tina, ike or just quit?

  • great played max level in car

  • i love watching her bounce

  • omg...is that a big nasty bruise on her leg @ 1:21?

  • Go head' pimpin'

  • its a lotta fuckin`-SEXY on that stage. this BANGS. thanks.

  • Ike made Tina.

  • @bresmith I have to agree with that. He beat the shit outta her but turned her into a strong determined fighter of a woman, a survivor.

  • @bresmith grow up

  • ι love нer, тнe power нearт & ѕoυl ιn нer voιce and perғorмanceѕ ιѕ aмazιn!

  • Tina´s at her best here!

  • That Ike guy is freaking me out because he took so many drugs, that he was so dangerous for everyone. Even Tina admitted that Ike was so dangrous that if you say a word to him, you wouldn't even know what he's going to do to you or say next. That's how Tina left Ike quickly in 1976 to hide from him.

  • SEXXY ROCK AND ROLL QUEEN TINA!!!!

  • This is such a great performance... love the jumping at the beginning. :D

  • is this a song by Tina ?

  • Ike Turner was a genius. May he R.I.P.

  • love Ike's suit!!!!Saw him in Morth sea jazz few years back...

  • No matter what may have been going on in Tina's life throughout her career, she ALWAYS looks like she's having an absolute blast when she's on stage!! I love this woman!!

  • @rodentcafeteria i agree with everything you said 100% love tina!

  • love this, thanks for posting

  • wow Tina is one of the best Performer ever! woow

  • Don't think I've seen any clips of this song performed live before...wasn't this their last single? Ike looks terrible...amazing that he lived another 30 years.

  • @markolas1, that's why Ike took so many drugs, and even ruined his own nostrils (nose) that made him inhaling cocaine alot.

  • Oh I love this song, she is awesome. Thanks for sharing.

  • Tina is one bad bitch!

  • I love this song, this is one of the best songs in there catalog.Ike and tina turner split up shortly after this tune was recorded,we all know why they split up.Domestic violence.

  • I like this.....

  • I could just watch Tina turner all day long

  • This song would have been a bigger hit, if Ike would have left all the singing to Tina! As smart of as he was in 'inventing' their sound and style, he missed the mark on this. His voice was not good, unless doing short bass lines, like in "Proud Mary."

  • she got arse like original beyonce

  • Regardless of what happened between them they BOTH kick ass on this song. say what you will about Ike but he knew talent when he saw it.

  • look at 1:12 with the microphone - I don't know why, but I find this move so amazing, I love it!

    Tina is my Queen, really!

  • Ike was a BOSS pimp

  • Love'em or Hate'em...Ike put some fuckin' badass vibes to this song!

R.I.P Mr Turner. -And Tina, your just as badass.

  • Now that was a steaming performance of the two!

  • annie mae put some stank on it.

  • Another vidoe I've watched at the urging of R&B/POP singer MYA's #MusicMonday link. I'm really broadening my horizons. *lol* Ike & Tina?

  • @ingridjuh23

    exactly!

  • This is a good song.

  • they looked happy in this vid

  • i only like tina with ike!!!!

  • I think Tina was amazing as a solo artist, but overall I agree that I prefer the music she made when she was with Ike.

  • whaaattt?? tina was as good with out ike!

  • i really don't think so, her sound became so Euro, not enuff SOUL for my taste!

  • Ike also had a really nice voice, this is music as it should be... Nothing more, nothing less

  • yeah !!!!

  • This was when I became a Tina fan, I remember seeing her on the TV for the first time when I was about 12 and I was blown away! And she still is fantastic!

  • You gotta love youtube. How else would I ever get to see amazing performances like this?

  • God damn it, you are right about that. Signs and wonders, man.

  • This was the last charted hit for the duo, Tina left shortly after this song was released. I think the excitement at the beginning was Tina, - really into chanting and coming into her own and ready to leave Ike. "This is my last damn song with him and I'm gonna leave .

He got one mo time to hit me, one mo!

  • You're right. Tina was really coming into her own by this single's release in June 1975. They would go on to release "Delilah's Power" in October 1975, but it didn't chart. Tina also released "Acid Queen" in January 1976, but that didn't do anything either.

  • love it!

  • Hot Hot Hot. This was Tina at her best coming into her own, knowing who she was as a woman and performer and that she could do it without Ike. You can see the confidence and energy in the performances just before she finally left.

  • Yeah yeah yeah that's what I mean

    Get it on WHOOOOH!

    Great act, great artists

All you todays posers EAT THIS!

  • Ike and that circus ringleader outfit is killing me!

  • Who are you telling?! If you look at footage of them from 1974-1976, you will see that he had that similar outfit in different colors. He would usually match with Tina, like in the "Delilah's Power" footage from November 1975.

  • great this is what internet is for :{)

  • whow, it´s 35 past midnight and this song makes me ready for dancing, going out... THIS IS TINA!!!

  • Behind the scenes he was a nasty piece toward her, but musically they were THE best to have ever graced the recording industry.

Tina was formidable on her own, but the duo known as Ike and Tina, to me, is definitive.

Pity I'm a gen-X'er and two generations too young to be legitimate, I'm supposed to like Madonna, Amy Winehouse, and Britney, right?

  • to help u feel better im the same way i like the older stuff and performers there isnt really any good artist out there now

  • Its alright....all I listen to is the Rolling Stones, Michael Jackson and Tina Turner. Im only 18...

  • This is soulful Rock!

  • He really looks like a crackhead. She couldn't have possibly thought he was good looking. He looks like an old man!

  • I love their moves at the beginning of the song, jumping! Really gets the party going!

Can you imagine doing this dancing in high stilettos?! What an ace performer!

  • And to think that they were able to deliver this level of a performance on a song that only reached #88 Pop and #31 (or so) R&B. This song wasn't even that big of a hit and they still gave it everything they had!

  • Great performance. Tina showing out at her best. I love the Ikettes. They were like Hype Girls before there was rap lol. No artist can ever come close to the original Tina Turner.

  • Thanks for your response! It's great, isn't it?! I really like the dance Tina does in the beginning :). Indeed, no artist can ever come close to Tina ;)! Btw, I really like your Tina video's! Thanks for puting them up.

  • @otizlotiz This is one of my favorites by Ike and Tina Turner, this was also one of there last recordings,Thanks for the post.

  • I love the jumpin up and down at the begginin

  • Haha, me too! it's the best part ;)

  • I like the jumping up and down too! This was taped right before the single was released. After a few more months of performing the song, they eventually changed the arrangement of the song a bit as well as the choreography.

  • Thanks, I didn't know that!

  • i love this song i just discovered it and it is off the chain!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Haha, sho it is ;).

  • They were a tornado. The hottest Rock n' Roll couple.
