finally someone said something! youtube is not a place where people who make music videos or short film can present their work, why cause most of the people here dont care about directing, about camera angles, about lighting or what you do with low budget, ive seen some stupid videos get featured, why? i dont know, but now to the video, its good, for the low budget its very good, i know what its like, and it shows that if you had a bigger budget youd make a hell of a music video

yea, not bad! lets all not forget that the Tube is not MTV level (meaning everyone involved's budget). You had many camera angles, off focus, dolly work, it's fine with me!

I agree that 99% of the videos on here are crap. I don't personally like this video all that much (well this cut) but some of us on here do only this and make a very good living at it. This was a case where we had a very limited amount of money and I did it without fee because the band was friends of mine.

I have to say that I love these guys, I saw them the night before he left, so it was pretty sweet. I am planning on seeing them in a few weeks in Denver. It will nice to see how Josh is doing...I am sure they will be great!

yea. it's not poor. it was fairly ok for this level of low budget. I gave it 3 stars. you had many insert cuts and many angles and dolly work, off focus, i personally only didn't like the moment when the singer boy wipes his hair lookin away from the camera because it was too normal or girlish or dunno. But the rest is fine! Lets not forget that the Tube isn't MTV level (i mean all participants budgets included)

The label didn't throw down for the video at all, so it was paid for by myself and the band. Whole video cost less than $800, including gear and crew. There are actually a lot more shots that I like better in the final cut, this is a very early cut we had to put out for some party.

performance videos tend to be difficult. How many ways can you make singing into a microphone interesting? Im saying this in the most constructive way possible, because after 30 sec into the video I was waiting for it to be over. good start, but it needs something more then an empty factory (agian trying to be constructive).

I agree. This is an early version of the video and I posted it on this site because it is the most recent thing to enter post. It has not been color corrected, or had the any of the narrative put in yet.

I don't agree that marking it as "poor" is a fair indicator though. I also don't agree that comments should be hidden on videos so I have no problem letting people see what others think. I have noticed that this site is full of a lot of very quick to criticize people though with little to back it up. Thank you for being constructive.
