Schools like Notre Dame and Ohio State love to talk about all of their 'National Championships' when most of them came at a time when 5 or 6 schools could dominate the country and hoard all of the h.s. talent available. Before the 80's there were teams with 100+ players on scholarship just for football. Miami did all of their winning when winning was much more difficult.

@tatertots00 super bowl mvp ray....the only reason the ravens havent won more super bowls is because the offense has stunk it up for 7 or 8 years. the defense basically won the 2000 super bowl by themselves they only needed the offense to score 9 points and the game was over. the 2000 ravens didnt score an offensive TD for about 6 straight games and the defense carried that team. ray won games single handily by him self like the AFC divisional playoff game against the titans.

How many of those came in the scholarship era? Or after the integration of the black athlete? Schools like Notre Dame and Ohio State love to talk about all of their 'National Championships' when most of them came at a time when 5 or 6 schools could dominate the country and hoard all of the h.s. talent available. Before the 80's there were teams with 100+ players on scholarship just for football. Miami did all of their winning when winning was much more difficult.
