  • Father Samuels last name is actually spelled Issa

  • Okay my bad...because i thought they mean't Jesus pronounced in Arabic is 'Isa" because it's actually "Yasu". Sorry for the misunderstanding...

    Shalom

  • Excellent find and presentation rr00bb.

    Peace to Father Issa.

His singing brings peace everyday to my otherwise troubled mind.

    Peace bro.

  • المفروض الشرقيين يحمدوا ربهن إنو بيتكلموا بلغات مقدسة

تحدث فيها الأنبياء والمقدسين : الآرامي/السرياني والعربي

  • i can't say how beautiful is this one hymn

  • Thats Eastern Assyrian Aramaic language not arabic.

  • ya the first part is but the second part is arabic just as it states in the description of the video :)

  • Oh ok.

  • The first part of the is west assyrian arameic not east ahun...

  • Hauntingly beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

  • I just saw the description: it's both in Aramaic and Arabic. silly me.

  • This song is in Arabic, not Aramaic. I understood every single word.

  • The first part is arameic

  • ralabe basimo kimat abuna ,kay lo me kdom morio bdeloch???Nahl obasimo!

  • more similar to Arabic, than it is to Hebrew

  • Arabic and Hebrw like Syriac are semetic languages. They will naturally sound a bit similar.

  • yes. But I think Hebrew is kinda unique compared to Aramaic and Arabic. hey, I got a question. Before The Islamic age, is it true that Turkey was actually inhabited by europeans???

  • Good question 1234. It is a question that everyone should be asking. The Roman Empire expanded into modern day Asia Minor/Turkey. During the Great Schism the Byzantine Empire was incontrol of it. The Turks came and smashed what was an already crippled kingdom. That is why I think if Israel should be turned into Palestine, Asia Minor/Turkey should be given to the Greeks.

  • i love it

  • Amazinnng, thanks a lot

  • oh my lord this is so awesome thanks alot

  • Have you other songs from this Abun Deyroro Samuel Issa to put on youtube ?

  • With time even more songs will be put up on this tube. Just be patient! Merry Christmas also to all people out there! God bless!

  • @rr00bb JESUS CHRIST DID NOT WERE BLACK GARMETS HE WORE LIGHT GARMETS THE MOVIE THE PASSION IS CRAP THE MOVIE OF 1976 JESUS OF NAZERETH IS A PERFECT BIBLE MOVIE

  • This language was of the indigenous ppl of Iraq, Syria, Israel, Lebanon, Jordan and other places that time of Jesus are still spoken by us, and inherited through out the years to keep our heritage alive. Now It is basically spoken every where in the world due to migration of those indigenous ppl... Love of Christ upon you brothers and sisters.

  • It is a beautiful language. I wish I, as a Arab, could speak it, but I cannot.

  • It's beautiful

It gives to fill something about the universe drama

  • To hear the way that Christ himself would have spoken is to me the highest of all blessings. May Christ's language forever be preserved, honed, and maintained by whichever means.

  • aloho mbarech al suryoye.

  • Cardinal Mor Ammanuel III Delly, Patriarch of the Chaldean Church of Iraq and the world: "I am a churchman, and I am not interfering in politics. We in the Church require nothing else, than the rights of our peoples requests and decisions. We, the Chaldeans-Assyrians-Syriacs, are one people which is called the Aramean people".

  • Prof. William J. Fulco: "Preserve the Aramaic language and traditions at all cost! DO not let the splendid Aramaic become endangered. It is wonderful language that links us back to Jesus and centuries of Christian history. To lose that connection would be a tragedy."

  • beautiful,

long live the Aramean Syriac people

  • and Assyrians and Chaldeans

  • great great great great :-)

where can i find more of them?

  • its not msale kulan at the first place its nsale kulan ok

  • I would like to repeat the meaning of this video. It is dedicated to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. LET ALL TOUNGES (languages) PRAISE HIS NAME. Amin.

Did not Saint Paul kill the christians before he himself became a christian?

  • 1:03minutes of assyrian language and 1:47minutes in the sword language and your telling me be careful...MAY GOD OPEN YOUR BLIND EYES

  • First its not assyrian and seccond, If you have a problem with it take it to Abun Deyroyo. And if you've learned the language good for you but others haven't had the opportunity. SO you think that we should speak and sing in aramaic and let 10% understand? If God wanted 10% to understand then Jesus would not have spoken Aramaic with the people, like the people did, but Hebrew. I love my language, but I love the word of God more nomatter WHAT language it is.

  • Syriac = Syrian = Western Assyrian = Assyrian

    god bless you

  • according to you maybe.

PPl here seem to tell others what they are and what their nationality is. I think they know it better than anyone else. Stop telling others what they are. I am aramaic, you maybe call yourself something else, but thats up to you.

If we cant meet in an unified nationality, we meet in Jesus. That is really all that matters.

    God bless you too

  • not only him..the ones that come from iraq and syria are destroying this beautiful assyrian language..and beleive me they give more passion to the sayfo lauguage then the assyrian that jesus spoke

  • He spoke assyrian? You sound ignorant. There's no where what-so-ever that says that He spoke assyrian He spoke Aramaic. But if you want to be blind & not se anything else than your assyria, fine with me But DONT put a stample or define something you dont know anything about. ppl from irac syria? Where are you born, in asyria? pls, drop it & be more mature,it sounds as if I'm discussing this with an15year old. Accept ppl the way they are just like Jesus did you are not better than them in any way

  • dear sister, if we dont meet in nationality, our kids wont be able to meet eachother in jesus.

Syriac Assyrians will always be my blood.

God bless you and your family

  • I understand what you're saying but i dont agree. you put the discussion about the nationality before Jesus. Is the nationality more important than being united in Christ? Im not going to change my point of view- I am Aramaic. and you wont change your, so its useless to discuss nationality, when it comes to convince each other. But you have a point there, for if me and you cant meet each other in Christ how shall our children meet?

  • you make a very important and intelligent observation ... if you and your friend cannot meet each other in Christ, how will your children meet ... beautiful ... very wise ... I learned something from you today ... thank you for your insight and inspiration

  • no it should not be 10% at all it should be 0% arabic at our churchesnnwhy did jesus speak in aramaic, because the babylonians captured the jews for 70 years and spoke aramaic/syriac/oromoyo(whatever you wanna call it)thats why jesus spoke aramaic...the whole of the middle east was assyrian...go and learn your history..its like you didnt go to school

  • It was a different language, why would they call it something else. They were arameans. Its like calling the norweigans Sweeds because we lived up here- north. They are a people and the sweeds are too. Pls, drop it. Assyrian language no body understands it. The aramaic language has been kept within the church doing the times of trial. I ahve read my history but I agree, its never too much.

  • you have a long way to go..the sweeds and norweigians are the same...they divided the country... and you say nobody understands assyrian...go and learn the your history properly and then reply back to me...and by the way the swedish government didnt except aramaic when the first migrated to sweden they had to go as ASSYRIAN..ASSYRIAN..ASSYRIAN...if you did not no that...

  • Swdish gouverment, So? People doesn't aknowledge God, but does that mean that they are right? The swedish gouverment is ignorant and dont know the history in the middle east and the minorities. Well yes they both lived in the same country ( but they are not the same people), But There WERE both assyrian and Arameans (not the same definition during the time) But you dont even accept the FACT that there were aramaens, nor that Jesus Spoke the language. You prove your self ignorant.

  • Facts-Jesus spoke Aramaic and the language has been kept thanks to the Syriac Orthodox church. I dont want to discuss this because ppl get angry with each other. But sometimes you have to defend whats right. You'll see what you want to see. Fine do that but dont say what everyone else should see. You say you're asyrian, fine I dont care. But what i do care about is when you put a stample or say something is asyrian when its NOT... pls Forgive me rr00bb. May God have mercy on us all

  • I would like to repeat the meaning of this video. It is dedicated to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. LET ALL TOUNGES (languages) PRAISE HIS NAME. Amin.

  • god bless

  • So? the asyrian spoke assyrian bcause of another language/people. Everything comes from something. Yes we should speak our language, but if no one understands then who will attend mass? But I'm really fed up and I regret discussing this here. There's a time and a place for everything, and here isn't the place to discuss this. We should instead PRAISE the Lord for His kindness and mercy!..... "Lyamo drahmayk hoyarno"/"I look into Your Ocean of grace", A church Father once said. and I agree.

  • Syriac churches in Sweden?

So is the Aramaic language spoken by some people there?

  • Hello. Yes there are alot of Syriac-orthodox churches in Sweden. There are alot of syriac-churches all over the world - but they are rather unheard of.

  • yes i live in swweden we have many churches here. we even have syriac churches in india

  • I think living in Sweden would be nice.

Practicing this religion in a place like Sweden would be realy nice.

I like this song. It has such a calming influence.

    The singer is realy good.

  • Yes sweden is a really nice country. The curch is my home, i am in the church every sunday.

  • god bless you,and your family

  • Thank you and God bless you and your family.

    Peace.

Something I have looked for and found with this religion.

  • I would like to repeat the meaning of this video. It is dedicated to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. LET ALL TOUNGES (languages) PRAISE HIS NAME. Amin.

Did not Saint Paul kill the christians before he himself became a christian?

  • I love your voice Abona deyroyo Samuel Issa....thanks a lot for the hymn....and a big thank to you "rroobb" who is puting and upload like this hymns......it really touch me....thanks........may Gud bless you and be with you all

  • what is the best and the must useful thing to do...is it to go to the church and just to feel proud that the syriac/assyrian language is using?....or is it to go to the church to understand what is happening and to understand the mass?.......if you go to the church and dont understan anything what is the point to go?.....And no priest is saying all the mass in the church in arabic....its only some texts which is saying in arabic. so dont say the priest ara saying "mohamads language"...be careful

  • no you be careful what you are saying...the language will die in the future..so you be careful and think twice

  • I dont know why our church is using mohamads langauge..the murderer...if i want to listen to arabic, ill go to a mosque...to save our assyrian language starts with the preist first..if there continuing like this our beloved languge will die...

  • The arabic language isn't the muslims, the language excisted before Islam. Aren't ALL languages Gods, Isn't He the creator? If you say no, then you are very wrong. If yes, I hope you think twice about saying a language is wrong to speak or sing. Isn't he singing about God? How can it then be wrong. Hope everyone who has this idea about languages understand

    God bless

  • HOW BEAUTIFUL

  • Wow... so beautiful.

  • More people know about Assyrians then Arameans.

  • Kid, you are in the wrong place. This isn't a Syriac/aramaic assyrian question. There is no end on this discussion. Ask God when it is time for you to meet Him what language or nationality He preferes/is the right. His only question for you is: What have you done for Me?

  • ive been learning the language he spoke

  • jag är assyr? Och tro mig vi är bra många fler än er här haha

  • This video is not for politics, it's to honor Jesus Christ.

  • Thank you beautiful language!

Thank Jesus for saveing us! He is King!

  • Beautiful hymn. Warm greetings to all orthodox brothers and sisters from Finland! God bless all orthodox christians!

  • Thank you. God bless you and may he strengthen you in times of trial.

  • Amin! I appreciate this very much, Shukran Jazeelan! One request: could you please post the lyrics along with a translation?

  • Amin! I have now posted the lyrics! Shlome.

  • The title should be "Nsal'e Koolan" or "LET US PRAY" :|

  • You're right, and therefore the title is now changed. But on the CD they spelled it with the character "M". God bless.

  • very nice, but it's not (Msale) but (Nsale koulan = Let us pray)

    Thank you

  • No its not nsale but msale lek kedhono suryoyo hat? bie ieto kem msalena oe la kem snalena hawo latjo gabro

  • *nsalena

  • that was very soothing...

so was its lines in arabic and Syriac,

    or randomly words would switch?

    ...Thanks for the upload

  • The first part is sung in syriac. The other part is arabic but another text and message.

I have uploaded the syriac text and translation. Enjoy!

  • I really like rr00bb's postings of the hymns and Abun d'bishayo...have any more to post?

  • Hopefully I will upload more soon! God bless.

  • What are the words in English?

  • The first minute of the video is a prayer in Syriac which is part of the 'Proemion' taken from the Syrian Orthodox Holy Qurbono (Divine Liturgy). The English translation of the Syriac part is:

Let us all pray and beseech the Lord for kindness and mercy. Merciful Lord, have mercy upon us and help us. May we be worthy to raise to You praise, thanksgiving, glory, adoration and never-ceasing good exaltation continually, at all times and in all seasons.

  • Thank you for the translation!

  • I have uploaded the lyrics and the translation for it. Enjoy!

  • What a beautiful voice!

  • Tawdi Sagi, Basima Rabba.
