I had my wisdom's removed at age 22. and like you, the dentist was almost on top of me because the roots were so deep. one tooth broke while being extracted, but i didnt care because i was messed up on gas ;-)

yeah it was weird... for about a day my bottom lip was completely numb, and for about 2 or 3 days my tongue was numb lol. but thankfully not much swelling. All was back to normal in about a week :-)
