  • How do you know what the destination numbers are ? Like for instance the 25R train @6:54. I've been researching but cannot find anything ?

  • fist railroad crossing in eastbank wv as a bell and lights and bar that comes down

  • Beautiful K5LA on first train.

  • That horn is beautiful at 3:07!!

  • nice seeing the pumpkins come through that beutiful countryside saw my first pumpkin & up in person in alburtis awesom.Brendan NJ

  • Love the horses! You make some awsome vids man keep them coming.

  • Is that highway above, 422E ?

if so how did you get below it?

I've been on 422 and I couldnt find a spot to pull over without having a state trooper geting suspicious.

  • @conrailbuff

You have to get off and take business 422 to get to Wyomissing Jct. Assuming you are traveling west on 422/222, take the State Rd. exit and travel west on business 422, assuming you are traveling east on 422, get onto business 422 at West Lawn, the road splits, make sure you are in the left lane and you will travel over the highway and the tracks. If you are south of the tracks, you are on business 422 (Penn Avenue).

  • ahhh okay.

    thank you!

im constantly looking for places to film trains. do you know when the best days are, cuz when I go, I end up sitting for hours without a train in sight. its annoying. and having cops pull up asking if im loitering pisses me off.

  • @conrailbuff What are the state troopers like the Gestapo in the States? why would they give a shit if you pulled over to film a train?

  • Excellent video as usual, just got a DV7000 today. Can't wait to try it out.

  • Wow amazing job man i really enjoyed watching this video!!!

  • DANG!!! I've seen NS 5405, but I never heard its RS5T because it was a helper unit! Anyway, nice one!

  • cool video

  • Another outstanding video!!!

  • Great video, as usual!

  • 5 plus

  • What is the bridge at 5:04 used for?

  • Pipes, to/where and what it carries, I don't know.

  • Those short inter modals added a nice change

  • Great Video & Some NS Engines Had A New K5LA Horn! Lol 5 Stars!

  • Great Job Eric...I'm glad the new Tripod is working out. Gee...Looks like you have my style of shooting now...Something must be rubbing off.

I want more...Keep at it and keep turning out quality vids for us all to see.

  • Yeah, it's great. Thanks again.

  • Another awesome video!

  • Well quite the catches! Most Impressive power as of lately! Shame i haven't gotten around to it! Amazing RS-5T as well

  • In the first scene I saw an interlocking. Is the other track there still in use?

  • Both of those sidings are roughly 100 feet to no where. They would probably be used to set off defective cars. They probably served industries at one time—this area is full of industry—but none are currently served by rail in this town.

  • very nice job and like the editing.

  • Too bad you didn't hear NS 9928 blow her horn; she has a GEVO horn.

  • Excellent catches! I need a new tripod myself. Would you recommend this to someone that really isn't shooting professional grade video?

Also, when were you out at Wernersville? I was out there Friday (11/27) for the entire day.

  • A Velbon DV7000 is a fluid head tripod, very simple to set up and use, and it is very sturdy, and weighs only 10 lbs. It is really good value at only about $110-130.

  • Awesome work!

  • lovin that horn on 19G awesome shots 5/5

  • Awesome vid! Great catch with the pair of BNSF engines paired with the Conrail SD50!:)

  • frikin awesome catch on the two BNSF units leading! i might have caught those 2 on 68Q

  • Nice catches! What type of tripod is that ? i absolutly hate mine , time for a new one

  • Velbon DV7000.

  • The quality has now improved greatly but it's still not an option to even watch in HQ let alone HD.... from the processing, I mean. Now that the video has processed but it still doesn't have the quality choice but it looks HD already....

  • What model of camera do you use and what is the frame rate; what do you find to be the lowest acceptable frame rate for good video? My camera does 15 and 30; 30 is SOOOOOOO much better but I can only record for 10 seconds at a time on that setting. sucks

  • 720p Videos are 30fps and 1080p is usually 60fps.

  • SIXTY fps; wow. 30 fps looks damn good in VGA resolution on my cheap camera. Cinema analog is only 24 fps; it's all it has to be; digital requires more.

  • I shoot 1080p in 30Progressive (30p), there is go 60FPS mode on my camera except for 60interlaced (60i), and that is just a horrible 30FPS setting because it is 60 half-frames.

  • Great video man! Love the CR SD50!

  • Awesome catches Eric especially with the Conrail/BNSF consist.
