In the UK and Ireland, the limited edition comes with a larger book, a t-shirt, a steelcover case for the game, and to top it all off Metal Gear Solid 4 and a download code for the original Metal Gear Solid on PSN all for 70 pounds or 80 euro... Seems like the US got ripped off big time

@DidierserreMedia Actually that was not the version I was looking for. I have three different versions of MGS3 and I was looking for my 3 disc set. It wasn't in shot as I accidentally had it buried behind some collector's editions I had on the shelf. If you want to see it watch part 2.

n also what they should of done was to replace peace walker with metal gear solid the twin snakes ya know that way you have metal gear solid the twin snakes and metal gear solid 2 sons of liberty and metal gear solid 3 ya know that would of been cool but since they did the essentials collection then theres no point in doing it and put in a psp game in that place of mgstts even if it was on the gamecube still ya know lol

oh yeah a year or 2 ago i found a mgs substance collection for the pst, had 1 2 and snake eater, i just wanted mgs2 for the vr shit, i finished some vr stuff and wouldnt you know it? my ps2 ate my disks. 7 hours after i bought the damn thing it was fried. i was PISSED lol! now i have this one :] i am pleased

No it's not. The only games included in the us version of this is MGS2 Substance, MGS3 Subsistance and metal gear peace walker. If you mean mg1 and 2 are included as well they were also included in the initial mgs3 Subsistance release. But they do not have their own trophies.

With the rereleases of games like this I have the chance to finally pick these games up and play them properly formatted on my HDTV.

Then they got the superior version of MGS2 including the demo theater feature, then when substance came out for mgs2 they got their copies bundled with the document of mgs2 which you can't really find over here anymore. When the essentials collection came out over here, they got the real essentials collection, with all the game discs and expansions including document and the psp games

the japanese version is 1000 times better than this "limited collection".

The peacewalker version comes with a 12" Snake figure and a soundtrack, whereas the metal gear 123 hd comes with a 400 page artbook, a soundtrack, ABD a metal gear headset. I got both but my wallet is crying.

But I could be thinking of Japan only. Can u point me to a blurb about it? I already have the original ps1 disc.

Europe gets the ultimate edition which comes with metal gear 1 & 2, MGS 1,2,3 and 4! Ps3 exclusive though! Down side? It's out in Europe in feb!!! I have my import on the way. Not waiting till feb to get my hands on the greatest games of all time!! :)
