  • i have i saw a 1995 chevy suburban 4x4 with stick shift came factory like that some special thing it wasnt special order either some odd ball GM put out i guess kinda like the plad valve covers in the 60s and the odd ball peace of shit 305 suburbans in the 80s and 90s

  • thats really clean for an 85

  • Kool, 4 speed. Wish I had a deezel stick! Ug

  • its not a diesel

  • ahh i've always wished my diesel was stick shift!! someone i knew told me she saw a diesel stick shift once, but i have never seen one..

  • semi???

  • no, a diesel stick shift suburban with a 6.2.

  • I know that some 1/2 and 3/4 ton models came with the standard transmission, even that one suburban on "Twister".It had a stickshift as well.

  • wat suburban are you talkin about?i dont remember sein a suburban.

  • hahh i love it. i got a 95 suburban that im looking to throw a stick into and i happen to name it "The Beast" also. haha anyways, do u know anything about putting a stick into a 95 suburban? i know its not standard, and will be a pain, but has anyone here done it, and do they know what i should use? i figured some sort of silverado..

  • I've never actually done a swap, but I know Silverado's of that time with a manual had the NV 3500 5-speed. (New Venture) Just get a compatable flywheel and you probably won't have to do any internal balancing with the engine, since you'll be replacing the flexplate with it. Come to think of it, just replace all the running gear and pedals from a 5-speed truck. It should all bolt up quite easily.

  • Don't use a nv3500. If you are going to take you rig off-road and want to something that can take some abuse go with a SM465 Muncie. It is the cast iorn 4 speed out of any K series GM Truck; it will have a aluminum top cover. You will be able to find all the parts at a junkyard. If you want need an over-drive go with an nv4500 they came out of in the 3/4 tons and 1-ton pick-ups. It won't be that bad.

  • my buddies is alot better

    425hp

    videos are in my account

  • sweet truck! ya i had 2 install a tach 2, but i dont hav that annoying buzzer, maybe it jus burnt out, check out my 2 vids, i think i would make u proud!

  • It had the gas gauge in the big opening if it didn't have a factory tach. I put a tach on the A pillar.

The factory clock keeps perfect time, however.

(factory clock is in the bottom left btw)

  • Hey does that thing have a tach? I always thought the gas guage when in that bottom left small gauge and the tach went where the gas gauge is

  • my mom had a suburban i think an 85 or 88...i loved that truck but it didn't get the best millage and she couldn't afford that gas

  • cool

  • who can lol

  • im glad you have the tail gate instead of the barn doors.. thats something you wont see to often.. keep it in good condition and you'll have a gold mine!!

  • Factory stick shift. ALso has optional 31 gallon fuel tank, power back window (per orig. window sticker)

    Price in 1985 $16696.00

  • im looking to get a truck like that when i am older only two chevys ilike r silverado and suburban

  • Ultra clean for the price. Was the stick factory, or did a previous owner install?

  • It's a warning buzzer, it's supposed to be annoying, it's telling me to put my seatbelt on.

At least it's not like the newer fords which bug you every 10 seconds....

  • hey how do you get a warning buzzer for cars is it a fuse or somethin

  • The warning buzzer on this Suburban is pretty obnoxious sounding, isn't it? It sounds like a loud whine crossed with a beep sound on autofire. Did Chevy offer a warning chime on later versions of this Suburban from 1988-1991?

  • If they did, then it's not on my '89. Frankly, I've never left the lights on or left the keys in it because that buzzer is more annoying than anything you find these days. But the truck looks like it's in great shape. And I've never seen one with a stick shift in it. Always an auto

  • I'll agree with the buzzer. God I hate those things. Glad my Buick's sold and I don't have to deal with it. And my Chevy, it's a 72, which means no buzzer for me :D

  • oh...so much to do once spring comes around...don't much feel like workng on it when it's below 20 degrees!

  • That's a clean suburban... but their looks are always wasted when they're sagging and have tiny tires. Throw a 4" lift on there and some nice 35's and you'll be in business!

  • that's why it won't get driven daily

  • damn

    its a gas guzzler

  • looks great

    i used to have a 88 suburban 3 speed auto w/454 FI

    wat engine does ur have

  • 350 4bbl
