Some years back, I was a self employed Information Technology professional. At that time, there were a number of individuals from other countries that were taking many of the hi-tech jobs that Americans could have taken. They did this by entering the country with an H1b visa.

There is a cap on how many people may obtain these visas. McCain voted to remove the cap from the H1b program. Considering how non-technical he is, I doubt he made this decision without input from lobbyists.

Think a little harder there. People will vote for who they like. And not in terms of who represents their interests but rather what personality appeals to them. How else can you explain Sarah Palin? Typical middle America is not like where Obama gets his main support. They do not follow politics, they think with their personal connection to the candidate. McCain is familiar and Sarah Palin they can relate to much more than to the next black president.

I watch and I find in repetitious and tedious with host and guests constantly trying to one up each other with their cracks. The real issue is the economy and the coming depression, government manipulation of media regarding this and the ever increasing control of the population as things get worse. The political banter is just a distraction.
