I honestly don't know why people bash Municipal Waste and Toxic Holocaust so much they were two of the bands going before a lot of the more recent thrash bands came out. Waste is crossover for sure D.R.I., and Tankard def. had an influence on this band. Then Toxic is more of the Onslaught/Bathory type of thrash. Everyone should check out Swashbuckle one of the best newer thrash bands in my opinion.

@ThazuaBlackarrow No Municipal waste is half of whats keeping crossover alive today along with their counterparts Gama Bomb. Kudos to them for trying to bring back something like this in a scene dominated by breakdowns, and guitar players who can do nothing but sweep. Sure they aren't as awesome as These guys or DRI, but god dammit they kick ass, play harder and faster than anyone else around and show a light of hope that maybe the metal scene will get cool again.
