why some people think a presidential term should be only 1 or 2 terms that is wrong a presidential term should be determined by a country citizens as in case of uganda majority of ugandans still want museveni to be their leader otherwise as for the west there is some kind of double standard when they talk about long serving leaders why they do not talk about saudi arabia or bahran and instead talk about libya

Also, remember that western Govts have in the past supported and sustained these corrupt and and bloodletting dictators. Amin of Uganda, Mobutu of former Zaire (now DRC), Samuel Doe of Liberia, Ibrahim Babangida of Nigeria are amongst dictators who committed mass murders 2 the knowledge of the west.

President Yoweri Museveni has been in office for 23 years! Is that what Democracy means in Africa? What is Dictatorship if he is not a Dictator? He was a REBEL who came to power after carrying out a military Coup d'Etat in 1986. In other parts of the world presidents are elected for a period of only FOUR or, maximum, FIVE years. Just like Gaddafi of Libya, Museveni is a life-president.
