they refused to pay me for that shift even though we phoned them from the truck to say we might get stuck in the snow and should we try get back to the yard, no the foreman said,try get to the job ,we were in that truck for 14 hours ,freezing cold ,no food ,no water, no toilet Turners are record breakers all right ,shame on you

i used to work at turners ,one day my on my way home from work my car broke down ,i phoned my foreman and told him i needed a couple of days off to get a loan of some money to buy a new car ,it took 3 days to get the money and car and went back to work ,i was asked to come into the office for a meeting ,there i was payed off for time keeping , they were trying to get rid of me after i was stuck in one of there trucks for 14 hours that time the snow hit
