Heres' my problem with 24. I think that the action and CTU part is fibne, my main problen is the completely dumbed down and unrealistic portrayal of the whitehouse staff, peresident and politicians. They should really take an example out of micheal manns films such as the insider, which has some of the best talking scenes ever,

It still irritates me to no end that this was the last season, but this season was so riveting, so exciting! Even now, watching the past seasons, (and the few that I missed), this show is so pulse pounding! There will never be a another show as good as 24, NEVER!

Well just finished watching season 8 and quite how they managed to make 8 series is beyond and how I watched all 8 is even more beyond me. the writing is horrible and predictable the acting is really wooden and forced. All the stories are pretty similar. American is good Muslims are evil. It has the most annoying character the world has ever seen Chloe O'brien (no acting ability) it's a horrible show. the only shining light is Kiefer Sutherland!! PLEASE DON'T MAKE A 9TH SEASON!!

@villzam I searched online for season 8 but couldn't find it anywhere. I checked at Ebay too, but people were selling at crazy prices! You might have to do what I did. I found it at a Blockbuster Video that was selling off its videos (along with the 7 other seasons). Hopefully, you do have a BlockBuster Video near by that will still have this season of 24 (if you'd choose to find it that way). I paid a little less then $55 for all 8 seasons, so I am smiling big time:D
