  • Lonesome Dove was simply my favorite movie ever! As a native Texan I also wish to thank all of the Texas Rangers who ever served to make Texas a civilized place for us folks to live.

  • Gus reminded me of my Grandpa...I have watched Lonesome Dove over and over. Its a family tradition of ours to watch Lonesome Dove every year on Thanksgiving night. Thanks Robert and Tommy, yall are part of our family history.

  • Amen good sir - What a timeless character you gave us in Agustus McCrae. If I live to be 500 I would still pull out and watch Lonesome Dove and fall in love with the character of Gus McCrae all over again.
