it's neither ^^

at these length u need some snapping pieces. and it hasn't to be the one like in ytramps version. e.g. in my 76m bridge version the snapping one was directly connected to the ground.

the swinging is then just a consequence of the snapping :)

the most important factor at these length is:

I got to 26m then started looking for what other people have done.

i finally stopped trying to beat 77m. i think it's just impossible.

the physics just get too weird.

so unless u make it to 78m we have to share the crown and wait for cargo bridge 2 with better physics and reproducible results.

btw. the fact that made my give up on trying was that a bridge was stable with quality settings on best while the exact same was not in poor quality. -_-"

made me curious if u played with or w/o sound and the effect on the bridge ^^

To me it looks like the crown is ytramps. I have "only" seen you do 74 m and above I´m watching him do 76 m.

It also shows the reason I stopped trying further.

think we both use camstudio which is freeware.

hope to see another one reaching the (in my opinion) "magical" 77m border, which is nearly unable to overcome ^^

but don't compare 47m to 67m ;)

Yeah I use Camstudio its free n easy to use but the quality isn't great, but fine for youtube

I agree at 77m the physics start going a bit haywire, you'll notice one side collapsing after building the other side, even if they're unconnected, inexplicably. It starts happening at around 72-3 meters but gets worse

How are you guys keeping the rope bridge from snapping off the anchors? I notice in this video you even call out the massive joint stretch where the two connect. For some reason, my rope bridges always snap off with like, 1/10th that much stretch. :/

it's not easy, mine snap all the time, the trick is to build them in a smooth curve, so you dont allow for hardly any dropage

it's hard to explain and it doesn't always work, as you can see in this vid, it's on the brink of snaping
