Mr Norman, forget about the String Theory, just like forget about Quantum Physics as we know it today..it will lead man in the wrong direction, it is the reason why the world is stuck in the direction of total chaos and destruction to our civilization. Do not be influenced by neanderthal scientists who artificially base there findings on experiments that cannot be proven physically but rather only mathematically. And in any case, the truth of all things is much much simpler.. it is everywhere :)
well, being a non-trained physicist myself, i envision these extra dimensions to simply be directions that we cant know about.
for example, looking at a map of london and trying to describe where up and down lie on the map. they simply dont.
As far as the BB.. if all points were once at a single point, then all existing points in spacetime were indeed at the origin and every point is expanding relative to any other point, but all are equally correct in my understanding to be the origin.
I was talking just yesterday about this with my cousin Ben and realizing how vague the concept can be, if one thinks about a point (as one surely should), but if I thnk about a more spacious "me" and wave my hands, fingers, "inwardly" it almost means something. Absel Salem (in Paul Davis' book) also called them "inward": oh, the other dimensions unstead of coming out from the point go some other direction and that is inward (which may make sense, or may be nonsense - one would have to look).
there is nothing spcl abt "here" sir... we are all a part of a really really big smthing... and all points have the same importance... its not just word play....
u r wrong... i mean in the case of sayin tat big bang happened here... it actually happened somewhere.. none can actually say the exact location of its occurrence as at the precise moment of BB none of the physical laws that we are experiencing were existing. then how can coordinates or references exist ??? acc to relativity...!!! in actual every thing moves away from everything... its not that every thing is moving from here.....
I still like the thought that, relatively speaking, everything expanding is expanding away from "here"... and I think there is something real here, not just word-play
They exist in a calab yau shape. which has 11 dimensions, these are known as superstrings.size is of no concern to the math, just to our perception of it.
There are the 4 Ds we a aware of - leaves seven (why did i think 6 ?). The thought I'd like informed feedback on is about these infinitesimal "inward" dimesions - do they, like the manifest 3D, encompass the universe? - inward is there a cosmic mote?

what do u actually mean by this "inward"????

there is something very special about all these heres - they are all here, inwardly

excellent! thank you.

There needs to be at least 11 dimensions for string theory to work. Check out brian greenes book an elegant universe. its a real revelation.

yes, I have missed counted! - there should be 7 unexpanded (inward) dimensions

The reciprocal (complimentary, mutual, moving backwards and forwards, give and receive mutually...) function... the infinite in the infinitesimal...
This is fascinating... thankyou for posting!
