I have been doing FSD for a few years now and I think it is a great martial art; the physical training is awesome and I learned throughout the years a wide variety of techniques that I would feel comfortable to use in situation where I would have to fight.
Like any other activities it is not for everyone; Some like it, some dont; give it a try; first class is free.

I think they tried to add to much stuff... i mean you can't master everything. If i want to learn kung fu then i'll do wing chun. If i want to learn boxing i'll do boxing... You cannot add and add to a system. To be able to modify a system you first need the master it and the problem with FSD its that its nothing but a bit of everything.
I trained with fang shen do for a while and what I learnt was rubbish, also they charge big time money. In my new school I feel way better, i'm more confident and I trust my techs. Also my teacher charges us only 50$/ month instead of 150 like fang shen do does.

I have had the honour of training with the guys from Fang Shen Do in World Kobudo in France this summer, and i can honestly say they are truly awesome! They definately know how to fuck people up.And that's coming from someone who does Muay Thai. I can't wait to go and train with them next year on their own soil, and go in "The Elevator"! ;)

Fang Shen Do is a highly useful discipline of Kung Fu, and you should not poke fun if you do not understand. In this technique, if you cannot fight back, fake and attack. Do not underestimate this technique, if used correctly, you could utterly destroy a person with a few quick strikes and perhaps a kick or heavy punch.
So who taught the instructor? I heard he did a couple of classes with DeMille and then made the rest up. As for this crap.... well that's it. It is just crap.

That is OK, but I prefer the "pretend to shit yourself" or "pretend to lose a contact lense" techniques. I finish off either of them by calling in an AC130 Spectre airstrike. Works every time.
This really work!!!! I once used this method of attack and ended up killing my enemy. Only use this technique if you think you are ready to kill a man, because this attack is way to powerful.
