Dude, kudos to PCF for combining crazy-ass weapon designs ala Painkiller with a unique game play mechanic in the Skill Shot system. I was always trying to find a way to maximize points in one kill. Personal favorite is my Sadist+Torpedo+Legless/Topless­+Pump-Action+Vertigo skill shot. Always like to go with the Boneduster and the Flail Gun.

i want to state my opinion this game is original its not something ;like call of duty or medal of honor or whatever shooter you can think off . all shooters are about killing guys and run from point b to c and then run to point a . this game is all about how you kill to get a exp points to buy upgrades for weapons and ammo. this is a real original idea. no i havewnt got a copy YET but i want it so bad!!!!!

@tomedkins no it isnt is call of duty having single player to kill for skillpoints does medal of honor have single player to have skillpoints for killing. you are only talkjing about multiplayer not singleplayer. the only 2 games i can think of that have xp in singleplayer is bulletstorm and fallout series. and you dont have to buy ammo with skillpoints in all the other games do you?

@inflateable Its not THAT different though. The basic idea is you kill things, and the more you kill the more points/exp/scores you acquire, which you can use to buy weapons. Buying ammo isn't even worth mentioning. Its like telling me a Red Apple is 100% different from a Green Apple, its still a damn apple.

The thing that makes bulletstorm unique is the skillshot system where you are given the tools to perform amazing kills consecutively, and are in turn rewarded for those kills.

@inflateable OK, you're right, but I did say that killing for XP is the basis for ONLINE multiplayer games (as you can see from my comment above), and as for Bulletstorm and Fallout being the only singleplayer games with XP - what about every single role playing game ever made? Final Fantasy, Elder Scrolls, even casual shooter role players like Borderlands use an XP system in single player, so it definitely is NOT an original idea for a single player game.

@tomedkins btw here you dont get levels for xp but upgrades and ammo. thats not something normally xp is used for. btw on fallout and such you get a level for the xp and skillpoints.and that is not really original tough here you need to do speciall attacks for the skillpoints( the better the kill the better you get points.) and on fallout you jsut kill enemies and get the same ammount for the same enemies you kill. thats a total difference in xp/skillpoint usage between games

(and because my letter limit is exceeded i need to type a new one) so basically theres a huge difference between fallout and cod and this game. this is indeed original because here you need to find out how to kill instead of just aim and kill and get the same xp for the same redicuklous kills.
