I found "On her majesty's secret service" kind of sad. Bond get's married and drives away with that lady (can't remember the name), and suddenly the villain guy and the woman that looks like a man drives by and shoots the lady! :-(

while some of the video looks stunning, other parts got screwed up. For example, the opening sequence of On Her Majesty's Secret Service is heavily darkened and blue tinted.

Certain movies (Goldeneye) are actually cropped and just watching For Your Eyes Only, I noticed several errors from the automated restoration that should have been caught by quality control.

Right now only 13 Bond films are available to buy on Blu-Ray and MGM won't release the rest until late 2012 when Bond 23 gets released to movie theaters.

It is better to wait until all 23vBond films are available to buy on Blu-Ray. I was at Wal-Mart a few days ago and saw the four Ultimate Edition DVD Boxsets for $19.99, you really can't beat that price, The Picture & Sound Quality is still Top Notch.

@Riddler95 well if we count only the old original series - the 20 bond films - 1962 - 2002 - there are only 10 aivalable in Denmark - GOLDEN GUN was srangely not released here. I'd say they all make up for the missing films which i can see on dvd - - The only thing i can say is that i miss this trailer on Blu-ray AND i also hate that DAD has in-burned sub-titles whenever there is korean language speaking. Those can be placed in the moveable subtitles.

I own the four Ultimate Edition DVD Boxsets, for now I am really happy with them.

If they do a boxset in the future with all 20 Bond films on Blu-Ray, maybe I'd buy it.

Yeah, it's called the Blu-ray Disc.

When did this box come out, 2008?

It's a bit silly with the BDs around the corner.

Guess they just wanted to pump out all the money they can get.

No doubt they're great DVDs, but they don't do as much justice as the quality they can put on BDs.

Having one? Sure not everyone yet... Getting one? They're not that expensive...

I'm not saying you have to pump a heap of money into it, I don't.

But the balance from DVD to BD is already happening, so why not just jump on board if you can get the better quality.

All DVDs that come out today is only to take advantage of the sales, especially since they can sell them for less, DVDs have probably never sold more.

But they use the situation that many people don't realize the difference of BD yet.

@JTNews90 All films benefit from Blu-ray.

Cause it's more true to what the original film looks like.

If the films look older then they "won't look as good on Blu-ray" according to some.

But it IS more true to the original and that's how it's supposed to be.

The higher compressed video on DVD just doesn't show all details of the film.

That's why you think they look better on DVD, the "flaws" are "hidden".

Also, if you don't know how to spell Blu-ray, you better do some research before talking.

It is a great collection! I have all 4 volumes (5 movies in each plus an additional 5 special features DVD's, so 10 DVD's total in each). Plus I have the movie "Never Say Never Again" along with the 2 new Bond films "Casino Royale" and "Quantum Of Solace." So I have all "technically" 23 Bond movies on DVD. My collection couldn't be much better!

The transfers of the Blu-Ray Discs of the James Bond movies come from the same Master's used for the Ultimate Edition DVDs.

I've got some of these dvds they're awesome...on this trailer there is the music of the james bond version for goldeneye but after that one i noticed at 1:21 the music playing changed...anyone knows which version that is?
