i am sure Mr Eraj was not in the 18th century either. but this song and this composition belongs to Abdul Wahab Madadi. He is very original and creative. he is from Herat and his has a distinctive style. and he lived before Late Eraj

I think that you didn't understand that the first name of the late Bastami who died in Bam earthquake is IRAJ.

Miss POURAN sang it before 1970s. This shows that Mr Madadi is not the composer or the first performer of this song.

As Mr Filsoofimusic said, the lyrics are from Nasseredin shah, Shyeda or Hakim.

Nasseredin shah was shah of Iran from 1848 to 1896.

this song and this compose originally belong to ANDUL WAHAB MADADI an excellent afghani singer. this song was originally and first time sang by Madadi in the 1970s when Afghanistan was a heaven. this man, Erj Bestami has a nice voice and he only gets mark for his voice.

And as you can see in the title, the vocalist's name is Iraj Bastami as written.. not Erj.
