@sawamie you are the one who understand my thought!!why is tiger population is so down?the british is the main reason.and i write it in many places.thanx.
Thank you, Lifeform106 (which is?)! Champions of The Wild is a perennial series comprising dozens of episodes concerning as many endangered species and their champions (I was fortunate enough to be chosen as the Champion of the Bengal Tiger. Just search for "Champions of The Wild", and you will come across the other episodes, or else google it. Good luck!

this world has many billionaires now and a few secret trillionaires, these assholes need another private jet?, the thrill i would have creating parks and sanctuarys where i could hire some dirty mofos to protect against poachers. Imagine the gift of being able to save an entire animal race. This is the most majestic animal of all and i dont see why they dont mind there grand kids growing up in a world without the amazing tiger, No they want to show off there new fleet of maybachs.time will tell
The greatest problem of forests in Inida and the world is, uncontrolled hunting/poaching reduces animal numbers, once the area is empty humans encroach, cut forests and put up farms, destroy the ecosystem on that patch of land. when the number of animals grow there is no space left for them to spread on; this leads to them attacking cattle or dying in territorial fights.Shrinking habitats limit the tiger numbers as there is simply not enough space and hence it caps the animal numbers.sad story
Documents need to paint a picture of long term facts, not individual, isolated cases, as SEEMED to be noted, in this film. And the FACTS are as follows: (1) Around 80% of all the world's majestic animals perish between 1700 - early 1900, due MAINLY to Europeans & THEIR GUN. (2) In the USA & Europe practically all large, wild majestic animals had been killed off by the 1800s. (3) It's only in S. America, Africa, & Asia that you still have small pockets of the world's remaining large animals.
Sadly, the ex-Maharajas still have some privileges. In at least one national park / tiger reserve I've been to, they are allowed into the park at night, when the park/reserve is closed to the public, for hunting purposes, not of the tiger (I hope/think), but other animals.
Sadly India had few of the stupidest Maharaja's even given the same honour like their greater predecessors like this one. Thankfully they've scraped off the Raja system.
its great what u are doin anthony. people need to know how close we are to loosing these majestic creature. Last year during my trip to south korea i witness horrific fights between tigers n lions at everland, they were putting them together to fight and kill each other for tourism n their tv show. May u can do a piece on that so people would know n with luck someone with enough powers would listen n put n end to the suffering of lions n tigers in south korea. Thank you
I'm listening to it as I'm writing this. Yes, the sound is a little low. Do you have headphones? It sounds fine on my headphones. This is just the way it comes in the DVD.
nice video... inspiring....
