HI Kyle. as fas as I remember, were about 5 LPM; but consider flame size is increased by bubbling " coolants" depending on the liquid you are using... have uploaded another Video showing that point ... best regards Daniel
For practical uses, kiln refractary bricks are the best, you can reach close to 1800 C without any trouble, will not melt, or destroy ( very quick ) , if you need higher temps, use metal oxides or carbides melting point for Titanium carbide is 3150C ... good luck !
Tugsten will reach high temperature but vaporize immediately ... is not practical
A thermocouple ( heat sensor) is measuring temperature at the brick , different " Coolants" at the bubbler cause the max temperature of the HHO+COOLANT mixture to increase or decrease, this is valuable info for designers of HHO applications . Thanks for watching
Dear Summer, you are right , but I am not measuring the highest possible temperature , the test is just to provide designers of HHO applications with information regarding the practical use of HHO systems, actually I verified the pure HHO flame temp. really depends on the material you are heating up ! does not feature his own temp. .anyway I realized we still have a lot to study about !! Thanks for your comments and for watching my videos....best regards Daniel

Dear Moggy , i was surprised because Acetone is suggested by manufacturers to cool down the HHO flame ( is too hot for some tasks) , but the experiment shows there are better coolants. The idea of the test is to get info to design HHO applications , Now we know , we can design a Porcelain Kiln burner using acetone , but if you wish to cook , better use kerosene at the bubbler or will melt your kitchenware ... HHO is not just for cars .... we must look ahead ...thanks for watching.
Very nice work man , this is well needed info..I have been for sometime now to do test similar to yours but havent had the time to do so ..Keep up the good work ...
Dear SS , I was surprised for the height temperature obtained with Acetone ... I repeated the test with the same results ( always 6 " away from the nozzle) , if you ( or anybody else) try yourself would appreciate a confirmation ... I believe a good understanding of the "Coolant" behavior is important , mainly if we intend to use HHO in other applications.. THANKS for Watching.Daniel
try mineral oil ... works pretty well ... I did not measure temperature but confirmed it works well to catch any residual KOH in the gas ... think it might be worth your taking a look at ... carbonated water also had an interesting effect ...
the effects I note were visual and pure speculation ... I did not think of the simple apparatus you came up which makes more accurate readings possible ...
Hi SS, are you using straight thick undiluted Mineral Oil ? Also, I've heard that about 10% of a Vinegar mix in distilled water works the best at neutralizing KOH residual before it hits the engine. Doesn't Vineager need replaced often?
If one of these also works best at reducing temps then Daniel could have found the best coolant that he's been searching for.
Great videos and dangerous, but it still needs to be done and with great care as we've seen it professionally done here.
yes, I used straight thick undiluted mineral oil ... it seemed to work well ...
vinegar in your final bubbler should hold up pretty well ... you dont want to try to use it as the electrolyte fluid as it will deteriorate very quickly ...
there are many other things to try ... each might provide some unique advantage ... careful notation of the effects of each is needed ... today we want cooler, tomorrow we might need some other property ...

What was the HHo flow rate, approximately, during these videos? 7-8 lpm?

Daniel, what material do you think would reach highest temperature under flame?
Thanks!

Dear HHOMAN , in this test I am using about
3 to 4 LPM ..
daniel2008C 2 years ago
how many LPM of hho you use?

the hottest part of the flame is the very very beginning...... The flame itself isnt hot but an object can heat up to 15000 Fahrenheit, see science

Magnifico soplete, felicidades.
Me harias el favor de decirme con que materiales has hecho la celula de HHO?
Si lo acompañas de un dibujo estaria mucho mejor
Gracias ;)
