my xbox hates valve games it freezes very very rarely (scratches must clean XD) but also with l4d and the orange box theres a few texture bugs :( like somethings look like a rainbow with blue yellow red etc

The Orange Box is NOT better for PS3, Valves founder, Gabe Nevell thought that the PS3 was a waste of others time, so he let Electronic Arts make the game for PS3, of course with EA, it didnt go very well. Both framerate issues and various bugs appeared on the PS3 version. Another thing I want to say is that some people may not have a especcialy good computer, and cant afford or doesnt want to buy a new one, and if they have Xbox 360, they can buy it there instead, almost the same!

Have the exact same problem. I went through two OB game discs, brand new, no scratches. It usually freezes while loading. Or if I'm playing and the game loads a new section, it takes about 5 min. to load. Really annoying. I suspect it's the game, because no other games do that on my console. Portal works great though, no freezing.

i hav not tried half-life but it freezes on portal and the start up screen freezes and i put halo 3 in and that frozen too. ive had my xbox 360 for more then a year but i think MS have put a 3 year warrenty i dont know if that counts for old xbox consoles.

Uh, try another game and see if the same thing happens on your Xbox 360. Then go over to a friend with a 360 and try your orange box disk if it gets the same error, then it's the disk's fault.
