@FrobbyProductions true, but with a fisheye lens, finding the right camera angle so your always in the shot is way easier to do. if he wasn't using a fisheye, then he would have to move the camera way further back to get a good angle, the fisheye just makes it more convenient for him to get a good angle. also, this was just test anyways haha XD

But the only thing i can see it doing is making everything look distorted, crappy and just plain aweful.

@KakaffStudios its to film skating, it captures the whole skaters body. When filming skating with a fisheye, everything is made easier because its just a case of point the camera the direction of the skater from a low angle facing upwards to get them in frame. obviously it does make things look a bit bigger because the frame looks stretched. You shouldnt really shoot from that distance whilst using a fisheye (IN THE VID) but like the title says " Fisheye Test "

@CSK8productionz1 Well they could use use a wide angle lense with the same focallength if they wanted to. Everything would look so much better if they actually stopped using fisheye lenses, because a wideangle one captures just as much if the focallength is the same.

@KakaffStudios Yes but wide angle lenses arent really good for filming e.g. skate lines, because there is no focal point towards the skater because if you point the camera at a skater whilst doing a skate line, you would most likely just have the below half of his body and the board in the frame. Whereas Fisheye lenses would capture the whole of his body and the board in one frame. They both have there advantages and disadvantages for certain things.
