It´s a real advance, a step forward in mechatronic, but ´s very distant to a act like the puppeteer´s manipulation. Just because the project try to repeat the artistic gesture, does not add something else.
It is a research demo about X-puppet that combined the glove puppet and the small robot. The glove puppet is the traditional culture in Taiwan. We design three manipulation systems such as a motion editor, a data glove and a motion capture system, and control the X-puppet to act like the puppeteer's manipulation.
Great job, I know how hard it is just to get the gyroscopes set up and fed into your system and thats only part of what you have done. 5 stars!
