  • Adorable. Still looks pissed off about something...

  • Super clean! Thanks for posting!

  • oh GOD ! richie lol

  • Everybody need to start from somewhere along the line

  • That was both gay and lame at the same time.

  • How come he doesn't smash up his guitar?

  • anyone else think that was a keyboard player

  • The Drummer's got some moves...

  • Mr. RiTchie BLackmore aLways has ThaT serious Look on his face, cheers! x0]

  • What a stupid dance.

  • ok NOW I'm totally sure, this man NEVER laughs! Ritchie GOD!

  • @taniniver666 that's part of his charm. he smiles, it's just not a big toothie grin.

  • This definitely has French Overtones.

  • MO-ish

  • Where is his pointy hat?

  • whoa nelly! just had to chuckle at the sight of Blackmore shimmying like a Playboy Bunny

  • @SmileyGarrish i have fallen off my chair!!!!!!!! cannot stop laughing!!

  • This shit is gay - no matter who is playing!

  • @beeroosterm

    Just fuck you ignorant twat.

  • @spacecowboy7580 And Steve Miller sucks, too...

  • KKKKKKKKKKKKKK

  • man, i wish i wrote that riff

  • Hey !! If I Remember well ! I have seen this video under Jimmy Page when he was 18 . It is jimmy Page or Ritchie Blackmore . it's confusing .

  • I thought he was in Screaming Lord Sutch's band at this time.

  • Just think what was coming from that ES335 just 6 years later - Child In Time. I can see whay he loves black so much, it must be due to the trauma of being made to wear white boiler suits and cowboy boots. I didn't realise he was such a mover. Mick (Mike) Underwood later of Gillan on drums.

  • LOL, this is priceless! thank u for sharing this...

  • ritchie was the one with the ES right? XD

  • Hi I wish you success

  • Health and Safety wouldn't allow that nowdays!

  • Ritchie plays semi-acoustic guitar in this clip,Gibson or Epiphone.

  • YIKES!!!

  • It's too raucous!

  • i would say that ritchie is the one on the left of the screen

  • which one is he

  • Oh the humanity. Poor, poor Blackers subjected to do a pansy dance LOL Seriously, thanks for posting. It was informative and fun to watch!

  • @rizzdog

Humanity..you mean humility...are you yet another youtube user who tries to use big words without understanding them?

  • @spacecowboy7580 I meant "humanity", smart guy. Try looking up hyperbole or reading some history before you attempt to insult someone.

  • @rizzdog

" Oh the humanity " is a quote from the newsreel on The Hindenburg Disaster"

But what does that have to do with this video?

Admit it..you meant humility but typed the wrong word.

  • @spacecowboy7580 LOL, you're pretty funny, spacecowboy. Since that unfortunate disaster, the expression has been used in a satirical manner (as I did here) -- nothing novel or unusual about that. Not everything should be taken literally.

  • Can you imagine him dancing like this while performance of Man on the Silver Mountain)))))))

  • ? I know he is glad those days over lol! WTH?

  • clockwork melody

  • Other guitar player is Chas Hodges from UK band "Chas'n'Dave"

  • Blackmore swinging his hips.....creepy....

  • Ritchie sure could move..

  • Lolololololoaaaaahhhhh heheh hahahaha aaaahhhh lolololololol

  • What the hell was that?!?!

Why are they on scaffolding?? Did they take a break from their construction job to jam a little diddy??

Is Ritchie warming up for the 'fast walk' Olympics??

  • This music makes me think of midgets dancing in Renaissance costumes with curly pointy tipped shoes.

  • Je je, amo a Ritchie Blackmore, pero es interesante verlo en esta faceta: bailando! él que no quiere ni sonreir! Excelente video, gracias por subirlo.

  • que bueno esta esto pulgares arriba

  • He still had that famous 'scowl' back then even.

  • that dancing was unnecessary.

  • little did they know the instruments they bought back then would be worth 10s of thousands of dollars today

  • MISLEADING TITLE !!! This is actually the new "Blackmores Fright" single .

  • @TheMichaelseymour Robert plant said groups with matching outfits are too anal retentative what about that group vic briggs was in before eric burdon and the animals every guy in the group had to wear a jacket with the lead singers initials on it what are they his slaves

  • we all fucked up in the past, what matters is to make it up

  • If you notice, you can tell by his finger miming to the music, that its not entirely with it here, as opposed to the other players, but by 1970 the other players wouldn't even be in the same league........

  • That must then be Ken Lundgren on the steel guitar?

  • the sound of the electric 6 and acoustic 12 playing in unison is really nice

  • Actually, that band is good. Especially, for a bunch of kids. Yes, Ritchie's dancing is kinda fruity but we all did things that we would like to forget when we were teenagers. The only difference between regular people and celebrities is that the celebrity's adolescent years are on film.

  • So gay dancing!! LOL! Great...that is why he went mad after all.

  • Olha o gingado do Blackmore

  • the drummer is Mick Underwood who played for Episode Six and Gillan

  • and Chas Hodges (of Chas'n'Dave) is on the 12 string

  • @knm3m3n I know that Blackmore is born in 1945, so I guess my brain must have been on holiday when I wrote that. It also seems that the movie was released in the fall of 1963.

  • @SixtiesPopGold 63 - 45 = 18, U R fine your brain was not on holiday. I think the guy above had a different interpretation of what you wrote.

  • Pinky & Perky?

  • OMG. I've never seen ANY guitar player, even in the midst of the '80s. mince like that while playing guitar - let alone Ritchie! Unbelievable!!! He was obviously searching for an identity, but unfortunately he found Mr Humphries from "Are you Being Served". Glad this incarnation didn't last very long!

  • This version has a much clearer picture than the last one i saw. Excellent video

  • WHAT THE HELL show was this off of?

  • @MetalGSTL It's from a 1963 movie called "Live It Up" (a.k.a. "Sing And Swing").

  • @SixtiesPopGold, I bought the dvd last night after you told me this

  • @SixtiesPopGold do you know where it can be purchased?

  • This qualifies as blackmail material!

  • Well:)))))))))))))))) Maybe this vid is the dancing Bible of Joe Lynn Turner. He took his coreography from the 17 ys old Blackmore and thought that Ritchie will be glad.

    Happened the opposite...

(True story: Once B. threatened Turner that if he dances again such a gay way, He will beat him.:)

  • @GBWagner1 I always loved this video from the first time I seen, ahaah!! x D

  • Nice moves Ritchie, he should do that in concert with Bn now, LOL !!!

  • @purpledude603 Yes:))))))

  • Lol. He doesn't look to happy up there dancing.

  • @fodnis3 Yes. But when was He seemed happy?:) It was not Blackmore who was used as a modell for the drawing of the SMILEY

  • Wow!!!

And to think he just turned 65 in April...

  • Ahahah!!! XD
