They only reason Roy won this fight is because he was one quicker than Ruiz . A LOT QUICKER . And The ref was a Roy's side . I love Roy he is my favorite fighter but I can tell when things are not right . The Ref hardly let Ruiz work on the inside . VERY QUICK TO BREAK A CLINCH . Roy won this fight hands down and probably would have won either way but come on man that's not fair and a real boxer will tell you the same . Thumbs up if you agree . Roy came into this fight at 226lb. He looks small for a HW. Mike Tyson who fought at HW at 220lb looked bigger than Jones. Jones is also taller than Tyson. There were times when Tyson fought at 215lb and he still looked bigger than Jones in this fight at 5'11 226lb.

wow Roy was 34 when he fought Ruiz and had never really lost a fight apart from that poor decision to disqualify him against Montel which he avenged by knocking him out in 1 round in the rematch.. if only he retired after this..either way he is in my books top 10 pound 4 pound of all time - unbeatable at his peak
