@wneq I think some high performance brakes squeak with light use because of the compounds they're made of. Squeak at slow speeds will dislocate you eyeballs from high speeds. But I could be wrong.

what the heck are you talking about the new 4.6 is exactly like the old one? except with some minor mods? its a totally different engine. Displacement, number of cylinders, cylinder design, pipe design, every thing adds up to the exhaust sound. (Personally I can tell the difference between a riced out Honda and a Ferrari)
PS: Torque does rise with RPM's, just not as much as HP does. the TQ curve starts higher and rolls off at a slightly lower RPM than the HP curve.
And it doesn't matter they parked in handicap spots. The parking lot was most likely the Saleen factory. Look at all the modded Mustangs and what not.

you have to be the largest IDIOT to ever say anything about a car!! the saleen S7 TT was the world's first PRODUCTION car to ever top 240 mph. It runs a 10 second quarter mile and pulls almost 1.5 g's on the skid pad. not too mention that at 155 mph the car could drive upside down. those 3 cars do 11-12 sec 1/4 miles 0-60 in over 3 sec and only 1 tops 210 in top speed.
Lol, those cars can't even compare with the S7. The S7 is faster accelerating, better handling, better brakes, etc. They also sound like rice too, the only one that does sound pretty good is the CGT. The S7 is a nice break from all the mid-engined super cars that sound like Honda Civics with huge mufflers.
I didn't mean stock, I mean a civic that has one of those annoying large mufflers on them. And no, I only meant Ferrari/Maserati, since they are the biggest ones.

No, it doesn't sound like a V10, Formula 1 or not. V10s have INCREDIBLY distinct sounds, along with their counterpart the inline 5. And no, it hardly sounds like a Formula 1 car either way. And mainly I mean at the low RPM range. At the high RPM range, it just sounds like the engine is being choked because it's revving so high. Ferrari basically said "oh shit this engine doesn't have enough power, let's make it rev higher." Since revving higher = more air/fuel for engine = more horsepower.
Good lord you're fucking stupid. I won't bother to explain to you, it would take too long. Google horsepower and torque dumbass. Torque barely rises when you up engine revs, you make the engine rev higher for more HORSEPOWER not torque, since the torque isn't going to rise nearly as high as horsepower will with an RPM increase.
Anyway, back to the point, you obviously need to listen to a video of an F430 exhaust. They sound extremely similar to the Gallardo, or sort of a tamed streetable F1 engine. What really gives them the similar sounds is the displacement, not the amount of cylinders. When engines have similar piston weights, they're going to have a similar exhaust note to a certain extent.
I've listened to millions of videos of F430 and Gallardo exhausts. I'm thoroughly convinced you must be deaf if you think and F430 and a Gallardo sound similar. Just shows how stupid you are once again. V8s and V10s have completely different firing orders, their rev up/revving sounds nothing alike. And no, the F430 engine doesn't sound harsh enough to be even close to an F1 engine. And no, you've got it completely backwards. Similar sound is in the amount of cylinders, NOT displacement.
Once again I can't be fucking bothered to explain it all out on a YouTube comment, but it has to deal mostly with firing order. A 4 litre V8, 5 litre V10, and 6 litre V12 will sound nothing alike. Engines sound like engines with the same number of pistons. For example, go search on YouTube for the sound of an inline 5 engine, sounds quite a bit like a V10. The example is not as good for inline 4s. But also V6's rev up sound can be very similar to a V12.

Similar sound is in the displacement, TO AN EXTENT if you know how to read. The perfect example of this is the 4.0 V6 and 4.6 liter Mustangs. The 4.0 sounds like a badass rough idle'd V8 until you rev it past 1,500 RPM.

what the heck are you talking about the new 4.6 is exactly like the old one? except with some minor mods? its a totally different engine. Displacement, number of cylinders, cylinder design, pipe design, every thing adds up to the exhaust sound. (Personally I can tell the difference between a riced out Honda and a Ferrari)
PS: Torque does rise with RPM's, just not as much as HP does. the TQ curve starts higher and rolls off at a slightly lower RPM than the HP curve.

you have to be the largest IDIOT to ever say anything about a car!! the saleen S7 TT was the world's first PRODUCTION car to ever top 240 mph. It runs a 10 second quarter mile and pulls almost 1.5 g's on the skid pad. not too mention that at 155 mph the car could drive upside down. those 3 cars do 11-12 sec 1/4 miles 0-60 in over 3 sec and only 1 tops 210 in top speed.

Lol, those cars can't even compare with the S7. The S7 is faster accelerating, better handling, better brakes, etc. They also sound like rice too, the only one that does sound pretty good is the CGT. The S7 is a nice break from all the mid-engined super cars that sound like Honda Civics with huge mufflers.

Are you completely insane, or do you just have hearing problems? The F430 has a high revving V8 that resembles an F1 V10 sound. Civics are little inline 4's that sound like pissed off bumble bees in a coffee can. I hope that comment was a joke.

No, it doesn't sound like a V10, Formula 1 or not. V10s have INCREDIBLY distinct sounds, along with their counterpart the inline 5. And no, it hardly sounds like a Formula 1 car either way. And mainly I mean at the low RPM range. At the high RPM range, it just sounds like the engine is being choked because it's revving so high. Ferrari basically said "oh shit this engine doesn't have enough power, let's make it rev higher." Since revving higher = more air/fuel for engine = more horsepower.

Good lord you're fucking stupid. I won't bother to explain to you, it would take too long. Google horsepower and torque dumbass. Torque barely rises when you up engine revs, you make the engine rev higher for more HORSEPOWER not torque, since the torque isn't going to rise nearly as high as horsepower will with an RPM increase.

Anyway, back to the point, you obviously need to listen to a video of an F430 exhaust. They sound extremely similar to the Gallardo, or sort of a tamed streetable F1 engine. What really gives them the similar sounds is the displacement, not the amount of cylinders. When engines have similar piston weights, they're going to have a similar exhaust note to a certain extent.

I've listened to millions of videos of F430 and Gallardo exhausts. I'm thoroughly convinced you must be deaf if you think and F430 and a Gallardo sound similar. Just shows how stupid you are once again. V8s and V10s have completely different firing orders, their rev up/revving sounds nothing alike. And no, the F430 engine doesn't sound harsh enough to be even close to an F1 engine. And no, you've got it completely backwards. Similar sound is in the amount of cylinders, NOT displacement.

Once again I can't be fucking bothered to explain it all out on a YouTube comment, but it has to deal mostly with firing order. A 4 litre V8, 5 litre V10, and 6 litre V12 will sound nothing alike. Engines sound like engines with the same number of pistons. For example, go search on YouTube for the sound of an inline 5 engine, sounds quite a bit like a V10. The example is not as good for inline 4s. But also V6's rev up sound can be very similar to a V12.

Oh jesus christ, you're dense. When did I say anything about a 4 liter V8 5.0 V10 or 6.0 V12? I was talking along the lines of piston design. Similar sound is in the displacement, TO AN EXTENT if you know how to read. The perfect example of this is the 4.0 V6 and 4.6 liter Mustangs. The 4.0 sounds like a badass rough idle'd V8 until you rev it past 1,500 RPM.

And no, I own a 4.6 Mustang and my neighbor has a 4.0 V6, they sound NOTHING alike, at idle or when revving. Fuck, I'll even show you a video if you don't believe me.
