I like how ''inside" these performances are at this legendary club. The Police are legendary in every sense of the word (notice when the band plays "roxanne'' live they can never duplicate the chorus from the recording. Overdub my friends. That's why!)
hate it when Gordon does the call and response thing. He's so up himself and arrogant, and it's so obvious he hates Stew. As for Andy...well he just doesn't give a shit.
yes very true ,tension in this group was high,Sting is very egotistical and considering he wrote all the Police material who can blame him for being pissy ,you would be too if you had to spend 2o years with the same two guys in your face evrytime you turn around, RIP ThePolice , in the top-ten of three piece bands ! right up there with JimiHendrixExperience,Cream,Nirvana,BlindFaith,
Stewart is more than just very good; he's amazing!
BTW, this is from their press conference/special show @ the Whiskey in Hollywood back in 2007, where they announced their reunion/world tour. portions of this are on the 2nd of the two-disc DVD, "Certifiable."

donde hace falsete???????? y como que esta sin voz??. el loco no grita para no matarse, pero lo que canta le sale perfecto, y le sale igual que hace 30 años.
My dad saw them on Halloween at Madison Square Garden they did 23 songs including Roxanne as a band and Sting did an Acoustic Version Acoustically afterwards
I was able to see them twice last year when they came to Boston, in July at Fenway Park, and in November at Banknorth Garden. They've been one of my favorite groups for ten years and I never thought I'd get to see them play. I'm glad they decided to get back together.
I like the video. Good sound quality. It's good to see the Police reunited. I can see what Steward Copeland was talking about in one of his critical reviews.
They're f'''king great ! Maybe they don't have enough material for a whole concert, but they are great! Copeland's really kicking ass! He's such an unbelievable good drummer
Saw them live a couple of weeks ago in Montreal! It was great! If you like the police do a myspace band search for Mcpherson - he's heavily influenced by them. Rock on
unless youre a musician u should definitely not be judging them, of all people. and for any drummer/guitarist/bassist who says they suck think-theyre the ones on the stage-try to stop playing with ppl for 22 years and come back!!
You obviously have NO clue what your talking about. Did you see Copeland's drumming at the Grammys. You should keep your mouth shut about stuff you don't understand!
these guys are awesome you to keep in mind that their joints and stuff probably ache due to age and the level of consistency they have been doing this over the years as individuals.
I saw the show last night in Orange County.......the Police were OK..not great...not bad
The sound in the venue sucked...indoor concerts always do
Sting's son's band "FRICTION PLANE" opened for them......they blew.....I've seen better high school bands.......huge mistake not having a real band open for them
look!!! today the musicians don't know to play an instrument...the pop music is ridiculous...ok, some good songs but...The Police is a band with great musicians...try to sing with Sting to see if is easy to you!! This reunion is fantastic...and i never was a police fan!!
true. i mean its only 3 guys on stage playing their instruments. its no backup band members. its 3 guys who know how to make great music and play their instruments amazingly
they've been doing variations on that bridge for ages... check out the version of it at the end of "the police around the world" video from '82. it's mindblowing.
I still love their music! I don't know if they are the best of what's still around... but I'm sure they'll give some battle over other bands that are out there. Who would you invite to be the opening act during the tour?
Stewart has three older sons with Sonji Kristina, his first wife, One older son with Marina Guiness, daugther of the heir to the Guiness Beer fortune and three younger daughters with his current wife, Fiona. Sting has 6 kids. Two with his first wife, and four with Trudie.
On his "All This Time" concert DVD that he did on 9/11, during the song "Roxanne", when he says "you don't have to put on the red light", he added, "she did anyway"...lol.
que banda de puta madre!!!!GRANDES!!!!
