It is true that here in Indonesia we also have Boyband named SM*SH, but im not the official of the Crappy Copycat Boyband.
Anyways, i see the Korean Boyband is a lot better, they are well trained.
That is why i believe The name ownership Internationally registered to the Koreans. Here in Indonesia, we all feel sorry for this, and just to let you know, the crappy copycat Indonesian boyband has been disrespected by the Indonesian Music Community for plagiarism. You Koreans are the True SM*SH.

@Tyra470 They're a Korean boyband who debuted in 2008. It's nothing surprising that they are singing in Japanese or releasing music there, as such is the case with many (Supernova, 4minute, SNSD, DBSK, BIGBANG, B2ST, C.N.BLUE... and many more).

@iWibBySon2: It'd be coincidence if they have the same name, but not when they have almost the same concept. I mean, singing and dancing is like Korean boybands' trademarks. It's different from F4, it's not like Westlife either. U know J-rocks, rite? It's like Indonesian' L'arc n ciel version. But at least, they don't have the same name. It's one thing to be 'influenced', it's another to, well, in writing we can say 'plagiarize'. lol I don't know what they call it in music industry :D

@iWibBySon2: Sadly, Smash Indonesia don't admit that they are 'heavily influenced' nor 'inspired' by Korean boybands, at least not that I know of - reason why some people hate them more. Should they be open-up about it, people would understand it better.
It's cool to have boybands in Indonesia, but please...this singing, dancing, boy/girl band concept dates back to 1990's since Fin.K.L, g.o.d., H.O.T. & S.E.S in South KOREA - the Originator. You can always google it.
