Thank you, DawsonDreamer. And for the record, I'm not on anyone's "side". I almost decided not to vote this year because everyone I wanted to vote for dropped out months ago. But I decided that even if one candidate is not my first choice, I need to vote out of principal, at least keep a lesser candidate out of power. Don't my name fool you, the "red" in my name has nothing to do with politics. Truth be told, I don't know what it means, lol.

When I was 18 during the last election, I was way too emotional, convinced by watching some stupid headlines that I knew everything about politics. I'm a lot wiser than I was 4 years ago, and I've learned not to take anything at first glance. Which is a problem with a lot of Obama's supporters. In general, Senators stink as Presidents because all they do is vote, not run anything. But he's a FRESHMAN Senator, he has no accomplishments. He's not some hero, just another shmuk who wants power.

i am saying this as a jew, so dont say im anti-semitic. i am saying this as a history buff and i love world war II. do yourself a service and watch some of his speeches on youtube. he could make a crowd scream at once and then make them stop almost immediately. there are public speaking courses that dissect his speeches and break down what he would do and us this as a tool.
