  • how possibly can he solve the cube without memorizing the start setting of the cube (and only then being blindfolded)?

    it's a fake

  • I dont think its fake, when he receives the cube he inspects it up until 1:43 when he pulls down his blind fold

  • ~~to the retards who believe this - all they do is have the guy unscramble the cube then play the tape backwards

  • thts not rewinded you can see that he is using algorithms and anyway a friend of mine understand what they are saying and its not backwards

  • =p asians

  • the rubiks cube came out in 1981, how young is your grandma :P

  • Comment removed

  • omg!! that person's grandma is like younger then my mother and she's in her early 30ties..... wow...T.T""" such lies....wonder how old is his mother...

  • what show he is in... bec the one in the 3 yrs old host are them

  • Ohh. If the guy can do this blindfolded, I'm determined to solve the cube one time before I die!

  • just search the user pogobat he has a tutorial for solving one of these

  • he can smell colours

  • I can solve it blindfolded with my feet

  • Idiot, that guy did'nt even get to look at the cube before he started. It is amazing he solved it without know what was where. Your brother must have to analyze it first, it can't be that he does'nt have to.

  • how is it possible to solve it when you don't know what you're doing? He had no idea where anything was at all on the cube, there's no way he could've done that, it's crazy!

It's like doing a multiplication problem, but nobody tells you ___ times ___!

  • He memorizerd it first, of course.

  • at first it looked like he was blindfolded already when they did the scramble.

  • whoa! sub40 memo! damn. wish i could do that. ^^

  • for doubters. blindfold cubing is possible this is real. this is nowhere near the world record even. you first inspect the cube without turning it and memorize the positions of the pieces on the cube. then you put on the blindfold and solve it with algorithms only effecting a few pieces at a time, all without looking at it. basically crazy hard.

  • he is first not blind and when he put the thing on his eye, the other moron in yellow, play with it for couple of second, after that he gaves it to the other one, and he is still blind..

  • how the hell are you supposed to solve those things bliundfolded???

  • You learn algorithms so you can memorise the cube in a minute or two before putting on the blindfold and you learn how your solve algorithms affect every piece on the cube. It's basicly an enourmous mental challenge.

  • putanginang yan!! mag kakutchaba lng kyo mga ulol!!

  • those asians damn there sneaky with the cube

  • I want a big TV like that lol

  • well im pretty sure its fake cause there was no inspection, unless they put on different texture stickers on, then you might be able to solve it.

  • there was inspection, look.

  • look up blindfold cubing on google before saying that. It is very possible and I can do it.

  • dude he looks at the cube first, memorizes the orientations and then solves it...if u didnts understand that then your stupid

  • Lol, how could he have memorized it if they then moved it after.

  • you are a fucking idiot

  • @Ramzon1988 he studies the cube before he starts. People can do this, you know.

I can't, but I've studied how, and seen people talk about how to solve it blindfolded.

You have to study the cube, and put it together in your head, then play it out with your hands.

The kid who did this in the video shown exactly that. You may not have seen it, but at 1:44 , he puts on the blindfold after studying the cube.

  • stuff my other comment it only "looks like the blindfold is on his eyes but their on his forehead, looks legit.

  • this amazing!!!!

    but think its really impossible...

    there's a cheat!!!!!!!!

    ehhehehe

    peace!

pero ang dayn talgah...pero kung 22o man yun ang galling nmn ng guy nayan....

    may daya ata..??

    meron nga kaya/?

  • impossible, the guy must have done a specific scramble, there was no inspection

  • this actually is possible. it's not braille. its more like memorizing the state of the cube and turn the cube according to what you have memorized. and there was an inspection. check out some of my videos

  • but there was no inspection after the guy scrambles

  • the camera angle was bad but there was inspection for about 15-20 secounds

  • I agree with sabrios, I know its possible by examining it before starting but it looked like

when the cube was given to him his blindfold was already on.

  • Lol ur right.

  • u r a idiot lookapieman his blindfold was off when he saw it for the first time you such a retareded person

  • i realized his blindfold was off the second time i watched it at 0:24 it looks like hes putting the blindfold down to cover his eyes, but it actually isn't covering his eyes.

  • i know, he was looking staight at it for like 30 seconds

  • Thats way too slow of a solve for him to be moving it that fast. I can't move it that fast and my average is like 50 seconds. <_<?

  • stephen, he does look at it...he studies it and then at 1:43 he pulls down his blindfold and starts to solve it blindfolded. hope this helps.

  • mazing

  • I believe it is possible for a cube to be solved blindfolded, but only if you have seen it before it goes on - but this guy doesn't see where the piecies are to begin with so how does he know which colours he's starting with? Would love for someone to explain, thanks!

  • maybe there is a 3d marking on that rubik cube because that guy is like using finger to feel what marking is on each square..

  • WOW!

  • amazing

  • this guy just has a amzing memory thats why...it is like known to everyone that that is the only way to solve it.. which is by memorising the colours n stuff. 122333pls.... u should get ur facts right.i mean it is possible to have an excellent memory

  • No. It is not enough to have a good memory to solve the Rubik's Cube blindfolded. If you know how to solve a Rubik's Cube without a blindfold, you would know that you constantly have to update your memory everytime you finish a step in order to move on. In a blindfold solve, you cannot update your memory because you can't look at the cube, so you have a use a special method to solve the cube. That is why it is not enough to have good memory to blindfold solve a cube.

  • sry.... it should be a great memory AND visualisation skills.. if he cant visualise the cube and the place whee the colours are. he cant solve it.. so i like to add this to my point. He needs to be able to see where the pieces would be going or else he cant solve it right? if im wrng pls tell me.ty,n u do have a point randominsanityhahaha

  • welll i did also say n stuff. which means he needs to have other skills to solve the cube.sry. i just dont see wat is wrng with my comment.

  • thats so cool amazing he should be very famous right now

  • whats this kind of riubik? for blind people? anyways, great!!!

  • no

    its a reg cube

  • and how can he know that it's solved?¿? 0_0

  • this isnt fake ive seen some one do this in front of me before

  • maybe its special rubik for blind ppl, its like that letter that blinds can read, 1 color means 1 surface symbol or sumthing:)

  • nah thats great work he obviously has highly developed memory and spacial orientation abilities, which are not a feature of race but infact a developed skill. Not all but most people regardless of race black, white, yellow or red could do this if they developed the skill. there is only one race... the human race, when it comes to brain power we are all the same. Asians excell because they tend to be more driven and focused. I am white. This is a developed skill.

  • that was.. surprisingly sexy ;]

  • i wonder HOW??

  • you guys are stupid.. dont you konw what this is? its just a really fast blindsolve - he has the blindfold on his head when he studies it, and the reaches up and pulls it down and solves it - go find a tutorial how and youll understand

  • bullshit, after he puts on the blindfold the guy mixes the cube

  • u people, he didnt cheat, he didnt have the blind fold on when he was studying it, after he was done studying it, he pulled the blind fold down.. and he knew he was done bc he may have memorized the cube and the moves.. and why would they put him on a show if he was cheating.. it would make no sense..

  • omg, when he was studying the cube he didnt have his blind fold on.. and then after he was done studying it he pulled it down.. so he did not cheat or anything.. maybe he memorized the cube before he came on the show.. so dont think bad things bc why would he be on a show for cheating..

  • hes not even blindfolded properly, he looks at the cube the whole time, and on top of that the blindfold looks messed up, like going upward

  • he memorizes a sentence for each and every piece of the cube in order to remember where everything is its really complicated to do

  • or he could memorize numbers instead of sentences. in my opinion alot easier

  • /watch?v=Pu9dzNW9GU4 Another super rubiks cube solving... Watch It It's Really Cool...!!!

  • the blindfold is tinted so he can see the rubix cube but we cant see him looking

  • each cube probably has a different texture...to solve on blindfolded seems practically impossible even if he's asian

  • How do they actually do that, I mean, you have to see the thing to be able to move the cubes, to be able tom do it, so how? :S

  • notice before he does it, he is looking at the cube, not doing any turns. During that time, he is memorizing the cube.

  • that's a cool looking rubiks cube.

  • yeah XD

  • omg this guy is awesome

  • WOW

  • i missed that bit. i couldnt c his fingers, perhaps he could slow down a little? lol, jks that was too fast for my eyes!

  • AND

he spins it right before giving it

prob a magic act. Pretty cool

  • Has to be fake

no way he could do it unless he studied the cube first

yes I know people can do it but

someone here on youtube who competes

said it took an hour to memories a 4x4x4

and find the fastest way to solve it.

Its just common sense. He didnt see the cube

there for either hes NOT blindfolded or hes Budha

    or possessed of some sh!t

  • You got a probleme with smosh you fcktard ? just because you see alot of asian people solving them on youtube dosent mean that other cultures cant the record is held by a MEXICAN not by an azn

  • actually its by Thibaut Jacquinot (france) with 9.86 seconds dumbass. the competition was held at spain

  • holy rubik!!! i don't get this! how can he see if the colours match if he's blindfolded??

  • holy shit!!!

  • Don't let ESPN see this show or they'll start airing this shit. I can already see it, Competitive Rubik's Cubing.

  • ... People already compete. Why shouldn't they?

  • plus as i forgot to add sense he could see i gurentee the had words written in the table

  • sueeeeeeeeeere if he can do that then i can jump off a building and walk home

  • that was going too fast to be real...

  • Is there something that is all about solving rubric cubes?

  • Unless someone can recognise hundreds of patterns and apply them then completing it fast is luck

  • if you keep the same side up for the whole time you can do a routine which you keep repeating and eventually the rubik's cube gets done, its true i have tried it

  • notice how he's looking right at the cube the hole time instead of away or something

  • was the white side already finished? because it sure looked like it

  • I'm not being racist or anything, but never trust Chinese television.

  • Notice that they didn't blind fold him. He blindfolded himself. Notice he adjusts the blindfold then goes right at it fast again. Don't be fooled people. Some people can do this by remembering and some texture certain colors. But he didn't.

  • On daily planet, they featured people who hold the world record of 11 seconds (not blindfolded) and 42 seconds (blindfolded)

  • 9.86 is now the record (not blindfolded) by Thibaut Jacquinot

  • In order to solve a Rubik's cube fast, you have to remember several hundreds algorithm. But if you practice for a while, you'll get used to it and you can actually learn to solve it blindfolded. Quite a bit people can do it, too.

  • That rubik's cube might have different textures per side, which he can feel while hes blindfolde.

  • It's not a pattern or a trick. Its all about remembering.

    Ignorant people.

  • you are right its all about memorization but this guy's memorization techniques are extraordinary.. okay??? dork..

  • There are people who can solve it blindfolded, and even under a minute! They remember the pattern on the cube and then follow ceratain patterns.

  • how does he know when he's done?

  • he is not blindfolded he must have one hole else there is no way to know how to solve it

  • bullshit thats not human

  • nah its called the 3 cycle method he has to c it first. it will be bullshyt if he didnt have to c it.

  • It is possible to solve the cube blind folded that is a new method people do these days. I have seen a couple of other races have done it to before. If you don't believe me just look it up, there is a worldwide competition coming up just for people who can solve it the fastest, blind folded or not. Also those people that can do it blind fold have done it for years and just need a couple of minutes to memorize the cube and that all they need to solve it.

  • racist.
