Dave Brock wrote the music and Robert Clavert wrote the lyrics. Calvert's singing was pretty lame on the demos so they got Lemmy to sing. (Apparently Calvert was not told about this and was pretty P-Oed when he found out Lemmmy had done the lyrics.
