  • Man, I wish I had her cheek bones.

  • 0:16 "See, I wax it with this Glo-Coat stuff". LOL!

  • I love this woman.. She has got to be the sweetest most caring person. She loves her fans and has even paid for some of them to see her on stage in the past. Those cheeks! She has Indian in her blood lines. She looks older than she was at the time but looks younger that she is now. Isn't that funny. I thought so anyway. She had a hard life when she was younger growing up then started having babies at 14.

  • why the hell would anyone dislike this

  • For digestible, fried foods that don't taste greasy, I use Glo-Coat®...

  • I actually REMEMBER this commercial. I saw Loretta Lynn in concert in 1981 in Lynden, WA. She is VERY funny...

  • I didn't know about this commercial..then again I was a baby when it came out. Cool thanks for sharing!

Yea, her twin's names are Patsy (named after the late Patsy Cline) and Peggy. They are singers themselves now.

  • Oh I do love Loretta Lynn, isn't she just the sweetest. I would love to see her in concert just once..George Jones is playing at my local civic center in Oct. wouldn't it be great if she joined him...

  • who made glo coat? & y isnt it around anymore?

  • @steventean Johnson Wax made it (now SC Johnson)

  • Not only is she the queen of country (along with Patsy, bless her soul), she seems like a very down-to-earth person. l bet she still cleans her own floors too. Could u imagine "country" bimbos like Carrie Underwood or Taylor Swift hawking floor wax, or actually using it? "Like yuk, l can't do housework, it'll mess up my daily manicure!!"

  • @imthedorf1964, Maybe when they are 36 years old and has 6 children and 1 grandkid like Loretta did in 1971.

  • S.C. Johnson, a family company..lmao

  • I guess you could say, this is Part I of the Patsy & Peggy Trilogy.

    Part II: watch?v=R6zZCFYfn4M

    Part III: watch?v=If7j6X_FgqI

  • did she say Patsy & Patty? its actually Patsy & Peggy. Can't believe she messed THAT up.

  • No, she said Peggy. With her accent, it came out like "PAggy".

  • YEA, Loretta is an authentic, country gal

  • Nothing can top Loretta Lynn and Patsy Cline! Look how little Patsy and Peggy were, now they have kids of their own!

  • I Love you Loretta!!!!

  • Loretta was saying just what the script required of her. Do you think they just threw her in front of a film crew and let her say what she wanted? It was the early 1970's and TV wasn't as polished as it is today.

  • Who cares if it was on a script, if loretta lynn wants to talk that way, she damn sure can, shes the queen of country music.

  • I totally agree with you! Loretta Lynn is the undisputed "Queen Of Country Music" and she can talk any way she likes.

  • Here here!!!

  • @ICTHater she's very southern. i say y'all, ain't, fixin too. i've got a college education. it just is.

  • Das right. You go, Lorett!

  • loretta lynn is my favorite

  • this was filmed in the kitchen of her actual antebellum home. they lived in it from 1966 to 1988 then moved to a smaller new home they had built elsewhere on the ranch

  • She's great, so real!

  • i love her, and its funny how she says Peggy. Funny in a cute way.

  • i would love to see loretta back on tv againg.

  • I think Henry Gibson did a glo coat fllor wax commercial too,Can somebody put it up on here if they can find it?

  • OMG I love her music, accent and this commercial!

  • This was one of her first advertisements...

  • i love her accent...

  • I could watch her for hours. thanks for posting this!

  • Just listening to her voice speaking made me realize what an amazing job Sissy Spacek did of portraying her in "Coal Miner's Daughter"!

  • OMG, taht smile she flashed just made me want to buy some!

  • Now THATS funn!! LOL.. I must say, me too!!

  • @Katiemadonna3 ....I'm tellin' ya! Loretta's smile could sell ice water to eskimos! ;)

  • Loretta has done many TV commericals in her long career including Johnson Wax, Crisco, AT&T, The Book, Clifty Farms Ham & Chevy Trucks. She will always be best remembered for her ten years with Crisco Oil and the 25 commericals she did for them between 1979 thru 1989. She also did radio jingles for Dr. Pepper, Coke, SSS Tonic to name a few.

  • god love her, she is a national treasure!!

  • Hum...I never knew that Loretta did this commercial! See, if you tune in to YouTube, you learn something new everyday.

I knew that she did Crisco and Dr. Pepper...but didn't know about floor wax.

  • I remember Loretta's Crisco commercials amunrey, especially the holiday promotional ones featuring her family coming over for Christmas and different family recipes (or perhaps recipes from Proctor & Gamble). Good memories there.

  • OMG this is wonderful I would love to see more of her commercials

  • Loretta could sell me some waterfront property in the Sahara!!!

  • This old commerical is soooooo COOL! I've wanted to see it for years. I'd love to own a copy for my Loretta Lynn collection.

  • Someone should really post a bunch of the commercials that she's done.

  • Do you have anymore commercial with Loretta? This one is awsome!
