@layoff01 and somebody correct me if I'm wrong but your macro line could need loctite to prevent leaking. Also, your macro line could be cut wrong. If air is leaking from the trigger? It could be the solenoid and you have to ship it back to dangerous power

personally, I don't recommend it. Standard 6mm Macroline is good until about 650 PSI, afterwards, in hot weather, it will blow at about 800 PSI. I use braided line exclusively for almost all of my paintball stuff. I don't see a downside to it tbh

I'm gonna be getting a new on/off asa and gonna need a 90 degree fitting. From ans gear they say they cover their fittings with something to create a seal. I just wanted to kno if that was true and I should be able to just screw in the new fitting to the asa with a wrench or whtever I find tht works right? I'd rather not go buy tubes of lock tight, and teflon tape for my one gun tht I'd just like this one asa put on tht I won't be changing unless I get a new gun later on.

Teflon tape is not a sealant but a lubricant of sorts. it lets you get the fitting tighter without stripping

you can buy tube cutters at lowes or home depot. they are in the phone and internet wire section ( there usually used for cutting phone lines and ethernet cables i believe)

i have an slg also. the fittings will come off you just have to try really hard. but once you start it its easy. i doubt its red loctite, because i was able to get it off with hand tools, and some strength. another tip would be to wrap the piece you are trying to get it off with tape, so that you dont scratch it. i still got a few nicks on the casing of my reg, but ya. message me if you need any more help.

@RandomVidWithConnor make sure its not loose. then see if the line is damaged. A spyder Ts has a steel braided hose, not a macro line. Its probably loose. Tighten it up and if i leaks thru the threads use the loctite, or teflon tape to seal it up.

wow i hate myself.... spent 45$ on a new regulator when i broke the lock-tight and it separated the swivel base and housing on the g3 and the broken o-ring fell out and yea.... i bought a new one and i was listening to a friend who said you cant get the macro-line fitting is glued with plumbers and is impossible to get apart.

at first its tough to get it out but after a while it gets a little easier to remove. push the macroline in, hold the little coller back with one hand and pull the line out with the other, think of a chinese finger trap

Make sure the tank is empty, heat the regulator threads with a blowdryer for about five minutes, and then twist it off with a wrench and a vice.

If you don't have a wrench or a vice, you can use your hands. I have unscrewed regulators from tanks just by wearing rubber gloves and heating the regulator threads.

Just about every gun works with HPA, it screws right into where the CO2 tank screws in, the threads and everything are all the same, so all you need to buy is a tank, and leave everything else the same.
