A third X-files movie needs to wait till Dec 22, 2012, since in the last episode it was revieled that "The Truth" is that alien colinisation is Dec 22, 2012, and thers nothing humans can do to stop it.

Too bad the movie sucked ass; not the fault of the actors; unfortunately, because of the creator, Chris Carter. It would have been better if they hadn't made it.....

@etbella3 , I took your advice and fed all the birds and hungry dogs in my neighborhood. The hummingbird chewed off my finger when I was trying to tame it. However, my opinion about the movie didn't magically change.

I tried to Believe, believe me. Oh, how I tried. But the fact is, any member of the audience that watched that movie could have written an outline for a story that would have been better than what they produced.

They could have resolved a lot of loose ends, but nah...

As for this interview - I have always known DD and DA love each other. Damn. it's so...obvious when you see them. The greatest couple of all time!

I've always loved the X-files because of the "extraterrestrial feeling" in the lore, which has been the main thing through the series. Therefor, the new X-files movie were dissapointing, since it were all about a medium :P Most of the fans wants the aliens back

I am almost done watching the series for the first time. Im on the 8th season without Mulder. The series went down a few notches after it left Vancouver. Those episodes had a certain erie feel to them. The last season in Vancouver was by far the best. i think it was season 5. I am still seeing good episodes but whenever they try and make a comical episode it is usually REALLY bad. But I don't hate the show its just different now.I am looking forward to seeing this movie when i finish.

Good interview, but for examples of Gillians' work they could of used Bleak House, Her scenes or lack there of them is LKOS weren't worth mentioning... not that she didn't do a good job but they were just so brief.

As in all the interviews I've seen, the interviewer is the most excited rather than David or Gillian. Someone got money but it sure wasn't put into the script or any special effects. I was so disappointed over the movie I came home and deleted most of my X-files material. I had written letters to get this done and that either actor had anything to do with it reminded me that it's all about money. They could have done another X-file episode and it would have been a sucess. Not this monster.

yeah, I thought it would continue along the grand scale of the first movie, but I heard that it is supposed to pave the way for the final movie (that they want to film), which is the long-awaited second coming of the little green men, so I'm psyched!!! XD

The movie def. doesn't stand up to "Fight the Future" but it is a fine addition to the X Files. I enjoyed it a great deal.

I've been waiting for someone to say this....when the movie came out...I personally only saw one trailer on TV here in the UK. Not enough promoting was done and the movie's release sadly couldn't compete with the summer's blockbuster 'Dark Knight'.

i have to admit that this film may have lost its momentum, but i believe it deserves applause and cheers. i hope that there will (must) be XF3 considering the mention of the date of final alien invasion in the final episode of this TV show (22 december 2012). i'd like to know how the creative board put Mulder & Scully (& William ... well, he's worth mentioning) in this.

It wasn't the best movie but I give the writers alot of credit.They told a story at a very difficult time in the characters' lives.They stayed within certain parameters which made xfiles great2begin with. for ex. M&S who both no longer work4the FBI n who both r no longer allowed2carry a gun at no time in the movie held a gun. The writers could have easily hand-waved that detail 2add excitement but didn't.I agree though - this could have been an episode.Huge step up from the last season!

I was so so excited for this, and had so much faith in them, but jesus it was a train wreck.

I hope to God they make more, this would be such a sour note to go out on, and the series deserves better.
