  • Lynn seems ok on her website and appears to be still quite active.

  • @Mthomps64 - Her website was last updated in March 2006, shortly after she had her stroke. She did recover to a great extent, but cannot play banjo anymore. Shame, she was an incredible performer and an outstanding banjoist..

  • Mary Stribling still pays bass, classical stuff, in Denver area. Lynn Morris married and had a terriffic career, had her own band, then had a stroke and is unable to perform. Pat Rossiter still in Colorado, plays guitar at nightclubs etc. They were awesome...

  • Anybody know where Pat Rossiter IS???

I haven't seen him in decades!!

  • @BanjoMikeGregory Still in Colorado, plays guitar, does some nightclubs now and again...

  • can you post some of the songs from those albums? I had those albums at one time but they ended up in a yard sale (blame the wife)

  • I used to work at the Global Village in Denver, owned by David Ferretta, and I remember Jim ranum and City Limits and Sunday river Bluegrass, and Michael Murphy, Grubstake, Pat ? (now of Prairie Home Companion fame) and all the other fabulous musicians who would come in toplay....those were good days! rest in peace David ferreta, I still have the martin guitar you gave me for Christmas...

  • I used to see them in a bar called the Mishawaka Inn near Ft Collins in the early

70s. I have both of their albums.I found out a few years ago that Ms Morris had a stroke, I hope and pray she is better. If ya'll are out there, thanks for the memories....

  • i went to school in Ft Collins, CSU, and remember the mishawaka Inn very well...especially the cantilevered deck over the river....the drive back to the Fort after downing a few was treacherous....

  • I saw them in concert in 1977 in Lincoln, and again in Omaha. I have both their albums on the Biscuit City label. Amazing. I saw Pat Rossiter reach over Lynn Morris with his guitar, start fingering her banjo while she strummed his guitar, each person playing the left hand on one instrument and the right hand of the other. Crowd went wild! Mary was a tall blonde with dry humor and a big slap bass. Wish they'd have stayed together. They were awesome.
