  • I feel like crack

  • Alright, well I like all kinds of music. I like lil wayne to Deadmau5 to slipknot to 2 pac and so forth, I think if it makes your head bob and waist move than its good music. No one style is best.

  • @KottonmouthSoilder you went from maintstream rap to mainstream trance to mainstream metal to mainstream rap.. Thats not a very broad spectrum of music son.

  • pretty shit

  • hip hop is dead with all this lil wayne n drake n bullshit

  • LAWL @ hcoprdice saying hip-hop is dead. And all 59 of you who gave him a thumbs up can stick that thumb up your ass.

  • everyone complaining that this can't be 'beatmatched' need to check themselves. djing isnt all about beatmatching.. experiment! you'll find this track can be played in many different ways.

  • Nice Sound you got boys!

  • THIS IS TIGHTTT

  • Check out some fidget tracks by MC Flipside and Dynamite MC. This is the future.

  • To all of you hip hop heads out there, please learn to embrace electro/hip hop mixes. Mark my words, hip hop as we know it is dead, and in the future, mainstream will listen to electro charged with hip hop lyrics. Its already taking shape, but most of you dont know it yet. And this opinion comes from a true hip hop head. The dance clubs only playing crunk etc will be as outdated as fade haircuts. This is for black and white mc's together. Jump on this trend!

  • @hcoprdice agreed!

  • Thanks man. Just look at hip hop today. Its so commercial it makes me cringe. It reminds me of the final years of heavy metal. All genres go through this and its just a matter of time before a new genre takes off. I thought I would never change my taste, but hip hop fidget / hip hop electro is where its at. You cant stop your adrenaline from flowing after a sick verse from an mc, to be followed by a huge dropping fidget bassline. Crowds go nuts for it. Soon mainstream will too.

  • I agree.I don't really like much today's electro hiphop, but songs like Benny Benassi's remix to Public Enemy's bring the noise are great. Those kind of remixes can make any old hiphop still a good song to play in a club. This remix pretty good as well.

  • Agreed. Benny Benassi´s bring the noise is a true classic. The first time I heard this mix in the club I about pooped my pants. Check out Snoop´s Pump Pump Aniki Remix. Or Run DMC´s Its like that Klaas remix. The list goes on and on, and its only going to get better.

  • Yeah, i bet it even made the old school guys going like "damn Public Enemy is back on TV".

  • Electro aint a trend

  • What would you call it?

  • its just talented musicians making rubbish shit.

    and its fukn brilliant

  • LOL, accurate my friend.

i was about to abuse you for saying it's rubbish shit, but what you say is quite true xD

  • a bit contraditory...

  • unfortunately here in so cal, people have made it a trend... i hope the scene goes underground again.

  • You are totally right, everything is backed with electro. Loads of old school songs are being remixed and all hip hop is becoming 'electrofied' if you will. So much is being remixed, and Wu Tang Clan have even started a brand of electro hip hop of their own

  • hip-hop and dubstep mixes work very well i think, both similar BPM and dirty bass synths work so well with classic hip-hop ryhmes

  • this particular track is fidget!!!!! not dubstep sorry :P

  • is it really fidget!!!!! i already new that sorry. i was mearly expressing my opinion of hip-hop and electronica mixes, seeing as how the conversation here was about that subject.

  • lol similar bpm???? dubstep is 140 hip hop is 90-95.... trust me i dj dubstep

  • yeah dubstep is 140, and hip-hop varies from 70 to 110 which is 30bpm difference and in terms of mixing isnt that much of a difference, this is a perfect example of the expression, dont quit your day job

  • @RollAnotherJ in sum areas.. especially around the 130 area.. tempos make a helluva difference... i promise...

    30 bpm is a WORLD

  • when your mixing though its not much of an effort is what im saying, obviously its noticable.

  • @neopandorex I agree. How do you possibly mix a difference in 30 bpm, especially within the same set? You might start the night out 30 bpm less than what you want to end up with, but changing it up by the much throughout the night might give the crowd an upset stomach. Can it be done, sure. But mixing this big of a difference isnt easy.

  • @hcoprdice straight up. if you tried to mix a track into a track 30bpm different you'd have to pitch it up/down so much it would sound like serious dogshit.

  • @leviiince dubstep is also round 70 bpm too, structured round a typical bpm of Dub. but yer, 140 :)

  • @hcoprdice yes the mainstream hip hop is dead. but the real hip hop is still alive. but it is unknown to people that think that lil wayne is hip hop. hip hop never dies. only that pussy shit u see on tv now a days

  • @gansterno real hip hop will always be playing in my car and ipod. in fact, looking at my cd's in my car, I got NWA (straight out of compton), Beastie Boys (Licensed to Ill), Cypress Hill (Black Sunday), Snoop Dogg (Doggystyle), Run DMC (Raising Hell), also some Too Short, Biggie, Wu, Ice Cube and Dre.

  • @gansterno I just think its funny how today's rappers can write a verse, put it to a catchy beat, and mainstream calls it a smash hit. True hip hop was/is a lifestyle. When you heard the lyrics, it told a story. I mean, come on, will someone please read the lyrics of Lollipop by Lil Wayne? This is talent?? "I say he so sweet, make her want to lick the rapper". Give me a break.

  • @hcoprdice i feel u man. nwa, snoop cypres hill thats the shit i listen. because by mine opinion thats real hip hop. lil wayne hahaha i think that dude sucks ass. he's the reason why hip hop now a days is dead.

  • @hcoprdice it's the future...just look at LMFAO.

  • @hcoprdice

    bullshit :-)

  • @hcoprdice

I like electronica more than hip-hop (but I loved the original version of this song).

This remix simply sucks ass. Especially the slow down part.

  • @MickeyLBrown

    Lol this remix is dope.

The slowdown is like a trait of mightyfools, they do it in so many of their tracks

  • @hcoprdice hip hop ain't dead, it's just different!

    everybody his own style!

    peace

  • @leegaertdotcom if its different then its not hip hop, im aware actual hip hop died sometime in the mid-late 90's that was the good stuff too... :(

  • @hcoprdice half right

  • @hcoprdice It's happening really fast all of a sudden. I remember pulling into parking lots with my electro playing and people going "Dude, WTF are you listening to?" Now it's pretty much mainstream.

  • @94XJ haha no doubt now ppl that said that 2 me tell me i gotta check out some sick but ive been listening 2 em for llong time already :/

  • @hcoprdice

I respect your opinion but you aren't right if you ask me, cause it ain't dead, there a lots of good artist who make hiphop tracks these days I never believed in the the hiphop is dead thingy, each genre changes, nowadays you see a lots of collabs between hiphop and electro artist, and you know what,i fucking like it! See it from the other way, back in the days electro was really different than nowadays,it changes too, everything changes, there ain't nothing dead, all music is alife.

  • @dicemusicproductions I also respect your opinion, but I think you are in dream land. Electro has changed yes, but for the better. When a genre is labeled as dead, it means that it cant get better, so it changes into some other sort of sub genre etc. Look at heavy metal in the late 80's early 90's. I must admit, it kicked some major ass. But after awhile, everyone and their mom created a band and basically killed the sound. Nirvana came out with Teen Spirit, and killed heavy metal.

  • @hcoprdice

But ask yourself the question what is better. In my opinion a good track is a song you are feeling. I am still feeling a lot of hiphop/rap tracks, maybe they aren't that good at the lyrical side, but i am feeling the tracks. But you're right on some part, lots of artist nowadays just make the same music.. But if you really would dig in a genre you still would find some life. Do you know Black Milk?

  • @hcoprdice it's sad but it's true:) RIP real hip hop

  • @hcoprdice this isnt electro lol

  • @wadacash fidget house dumbass

  • @ZETROC61593 just fidget dumbass, only idiots like you think theres actually such thing as fidget house. fidget is its own genre.

  • @wadacash fidget house is a sub genre from electro house '"Fidget house (also known as fidget) is a subgenre of Electro house music that is "defined by snatched vocal snippets, pitch-bent dirty basslines and rave-style synth stabs over glitchy 4/4 beats."[1] It is known for using influences from other subgenres such as Chicago house, rave, UK garage, US hip-hop, Baltimore club, Kuduro and other "authentic" world music genres."'--- nuff said so stfu, your the idiot here

  • @hcoprdice You my friend are from the future, because only time travel could give you such knowledge, In other words... You be right as fuck!

  • @Sil3ntRav3r Thanks for the words. As I read my comments from before, I smile because I see so many great electro/hip hop mixes now. The funny thing is, I didnt even really like this DMX mix. I just new that hip hop had seen its best days, and that electro now has the power. Combine them both and you have magic. Listen to Kesha- We R who we R (artistic raw) or ludacris vs kid kaio - how low good time (alex peace mashup) or N.E.R.D- Hot N Fun (Boys Noize remix). The list goes on.

  • @hcoprdice Hip Hop isn't dead. You're just not looking hard enough.

  • @wengerisapeado You may be right with the underground scene. As far as the radio scene, its completely over. The only somewhat recent tune that remotely resembles hip hop is Kanye's Monster (in my opinion). And I only like the sped up version of it. Lyrically and Rhythmically.

  • ur remx is crap you stupid bitch this is a sick remix

  • this is the worst version of this song Ive ever heard, sorry is my opinion

  • this song is sick. Love it.

  • i creamed myself the kelis one is better thooo
