That these individuals new they could control people and control their wallets through this music. Does anyone know the names of these people and perhaps the book which talks about it?

this is awsome mceein tha foundation muzic that made then now and tha next levels to come. check me out mceein and djin my own songs . dj jeffness peace.
This joint was CRANKIN. I saw the Crash Crew live at the "Roller Castle" in Elmont, Long Island. Had a crush on Mc Shubee (spelling) the MC Supreme be rockin your you mic with a gangsta leannnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!
I was in the USN, stationed at NADC Warminster, Pa. 1983, got up one morning getting ready go go to work on those big ass P3 Orions. Stationed there we had the best of both worlds because we picked up all the NYC stations and the Philly stations too. My ritual was turning on WBLS or 98.7 Kiss because they always played bangin' shit that you would never hear in Philly. I think it was WBLS that played this joint and I blew that shit up in the barracks. Ahhh the memories!
@nubonyx Dont sleep tho'... Philly had madd under ground rappers... I'm from the Bronx and was 14 yrs old up at 3am on sunday morning for the rap attack version for philly... R.I.P. #Rise In Power Mr. Magic!
Summer 1983. 98.7 Kiss FM(WRKS) and 107.5 FM(WBLS) played this joint when I was just 12 years old. It's a pity that Snot 97(WQHT) and Powerless 105(WWPR) don't even know what REAL rap music is.
@teeosupreme...wasnt Reggie Reg a part of the Fantasy 3 first? Who would he give props to if helped record the first record? I know Master OC produced the first one and I believe he did this one too. He did a lot of work with the Fearless Four as well..
@drkprtyboy absolutely not. Reggie Reg was never down with the fantasy 3. Master OC produced tracks for the Fearless and Fantasy. He was not the producer of this track. The lead emcee for the fantasy was my dude SilverFox.
@girlsailor123 Just checked it , It's your rock by fantasy three came out in 1983 and Crash crew radio came out in 1984. I have both albums and just confirmed it.
@girlsailor123 Would love to get my hands on that album, I bought their single Breaking Bells in 1982 but never knew they had "Radio" out before 1984. If I'm not mistaken Pumpkin did the production on Fantasy 3 single It's your rock, Not sure if crash crew used him also...
Every time I hear this song I fucking dub step like a pro. It doesn't matter where I am, a wedding, church, school, deli, pumping gas, mowing the lawn, doing some hot chick... hell yeah
@pr2409 They not only stole the beat and melody, they stole the harmony as well. Damn that's hardcore biting at it's best. getting paid off of someone elses hardwork and dedication. that's foul yo for real.
@teeosupreme True not every crew was fortunate enough to have a producer like pumpkin on their side like fantasy 3.. By the way was that your Joint T.O Get busy ? If it is you need to get busy and get your music out there cause it sounds better than half the music out now..
@pr2409 U R right. By the way thanks for the love on the tune Get Busy. That's me on that joint. i'd appreciate a comment my dude. I've been in the game for years ans spit what I feel but i catch a lot of hate from garbage emcees LOL. thanks for the love my dude.
@teeosupreme if you listen to most J5 stuff it shows a huge respect for the origins of hip hop, I don't think they stole this at all, its more of a homage to one of their original influences like a cover version of the original. correct me if i'm wrong but i'm sure if u have a look in the credits of the feedback album they will give credit to crash crew as writers/sample in their version. I'd say its a little nod to all the original hip hop fans who make the connection between the 2 versions
@wordupemma Why are you speaking of Jurassic5? Crash Crew stole the melody and concept from The fantasy Three's it's your rock. The crash Crew never gave them props either.
@teeosupreme haha its an ever unravelling chain of samples and covers, I was referring the the comments above where someone said j5 were 'biting' just think thats the way these things go and i guess that proves it! wouldnt b surprised if i heard the melody somewhere even more original like an old soul tune or whatever before it's your rock! i love them all anyway so il leave them to battle it out on the rights!! cheers
@teeosupreme You may e right, I saw them fight at the Broadway International on 135st when they were rapng the same night. So I know and remember the moment. Both groups were great. Contacts were probably out atthe same time, They battled, that"s the way it was back then.
