I like how Alois and Ciel have virtually the same past, but each took it into different perspectives. They both became insane, but Ciel became the quiet, slowly deteriorating, diplomatic insane, and Alois became the hardcore, Bipolar, "I'll kill you if you don't love me" insane. Both own demons, but Sebastian can fulfill his masters wish to kill who was responsible, and and Claude can never love...

But, Alois and Ciel both rock, even though this demonstrates they took this literally!

I would have been happy with season two if they decided to have the ending reflect the song's last scene. You know instead of the dick move ending they gave us, they had Ciel and Sebastian in a rose garden on the demon Island and Sebastian takes Ciel's soul at the end. Even though Ciel would be dead, it would be something of a fitting ending for him. After all, his life is a tragic tale, and a demon taking his soul would be the perfect end for him.

@optronixatron I heard this type of ending was something Yana has thought about but would never do it in the manga so she was alright with it in the anime. I would have been ok with him becoming a demon if the whole ending didn't feel so rushed. Its like they packed several more episodes worth of character development into two eps and said 'screw it we're done'. =/

I would have been okay with Ciel becoming a demon if they didn't screw Sebastian over in the process. I know I am not the only one who could see how depressed/bummed out Sebastian was when he learned he could never have Ciel's soul. what would have made more sense was that when Ciel lost his soul, he became a demon, because Demons are soulless beings.

I love how Ciel and Alois and Claude and Sebastian are complete opposites.

Ciel doesn't show kindess towards Sebastian, yet Alois seems to show favoritism towards Claude. Sebastian seems to treat Ciel quite nicely, while Claude does everything coldly~

The butlers covered the same part of their master that contains the make on each butlers hand.

(the mark on claudes hand is on alois's tongue, the one on sebastians is on ciels eye)

From what i understand, when the two marks come into contact, or within a certain distance of each other, some thing happens. I don't know what though. It never says anything about it in the anime. /:

@LittleMissNightmare8 I don't think the marks do anything when they come into contact. Alois' mark appears whenever hes near Cloude, vise versa when hes away from Cloude. And Ciels mark glows whenever he gives a command to Sebastian but its always shown whether or not hes near Sebastian. I guess its just a visionary effect the demons choose when they form a contract with someone.
