Metal bikes makes frames that are over 5 lbs. The Recon is a pretty heavy ride. Its good for freestyle and street riding, obviously. but it is pretty heavy, i never got a straight answer from any website, but from the information i gathered its around 30lbs no less though. but it is a good bike, just a little more on the heavy side.

I actually ride a recon. the dude below is right, its heavy, but its such a tough bike. My friend has a 3.1 and its a much smoother ride then the recon, and i wish i would have went with that, but its a great bike... heavy though
