@piekingky44 I know yo. There's nothing wrong with a little pop, but it's absolutely taking over. We need another few good alternative bands to come out.
I used to hear this song every morning on my way to pick my boyfriend up for school. It takes me back to that time when I was sixteen and newly in love...
@rlambert15 ok, two things. 1. if you are going to make fun of someone's intelligence, you should try to use a verb in the sentence. 2nd. the lyrics are in the description. idiot.

Bob Dylan, Jakob's dad, wrote a song called Desolation Row around the time he married Jakob's mom, Sara. In the song Dylan speaks of a Cinderella. Bob and Sara when through a tuff divorce. I think the song is about Jacob and his Mom, who remained single, driving the road of life with just one headlight. THe nothing is forever may have bben any child of divorce hoping Mom and Dad wouldget back toghter.
I looked up the meaning. Found a bunch of stuff. I dnt know anything about the band just like the song. I could never make out all the lyrics so when I looked up lyrics I looked up meanings. There were a few things he was qutoed saything the song was about and a few of them was different. I like the politcal idea tho. I guess we cn be sure it's about death.
why do people sit there all game faced writting gay comments like.. " oh this guy is very talented, alittle too much bass and drums but still good song.... like balls man just say something like.... elohel this song is nice or cool
From Wikipedia: "The lyrics tell a fragmentary story about a former friend and her death, and the singer's emotions in the aftermath. The use of strong words and images and the incomplete story have resulted in many different interpretations of the song, which include suicide, drug abuse, death of a lover, and depression."
(continued) "...Jakob Dylan...said that the song is about "the death of ideas," and that the metaphors and images in the lyrics were not meant to be taken literally...he and the band had very little support when they were putting together the record, hence the shout-out "c'mon try a little." "we can drive it home / with one headlight" [is] a reference to how the band [was] able to get through with their ideas despite...the lack of support."
Jakob Dylan is God.
