Sinatra was great, but come on... Harry Connick Jr is a singer, songwriter, composer, arranger... the last one is a big reason for why the band of already amazing musicians sounds so good. While it sounds like a Nola jazz jam, the break to the big band sound was arranged when Harry heard the arrangement he was working with. This is impressive! And it sounds great though!
No discredit to old Blue Eyes though, he just wasn't ranched out like H.C. Jr.

Listen, I live in Holland and love Paul de Leeuw. I still wonder who the hell is the lead trumpet player and his name on Paul's show. He is with Harry, Jr., de Leeuw and Paul Anka. I saw Mr. Anka here in Rotterdam last year and just made dirty my pants with that great band.
Anka and Harry Connick seem to have the same band. Who the hell *is* that terrific lead trumpet player. Mr. Freaking Big Chops. Any Names? Amazijing hard shit lips for sure.

Who the heck is the lead trumpet player? I have seen him here and on other places. He just kicks. in my humble opinion. Anybody know this guy's name? The lad with glasses and the serious embourchure?
