  • At 7:11...I could just image how pretty that looks. :)

  • What seaplane base is this?

  • great stuff - i'd love to live on a converted cat - go absolutely anywhere you wanted to

  • great stuff, thanks for posting

  • ~Great documentary, although sad we weren't simply going after the nasty warmongering jewZionist NWO Rothschild/Rockefeller et'al Bank'ster-mafia that we now know maliciously orchestrate all wars between sovereign nations (-USA now being in total control of these ruthless profiteers, -thus doing the bidding for IsraHell). After WW2 i enjoyed watching these lovely PBY's flying out of SanDiego-bay from the CoastGuard-station along HarborDrive; --they could release a 20ft/LifeBoat under wing..!!!

  • @AryanKnight Mental illness is a terrible thing. You have my sympathies.

  • @fishteeth2 <----------apparently you are seriously inflicted with the insidious JooFlu/Hate-virus for which there seems no cure according to St.Hitler..!!

  • @AryanKnight Saint Hitler, who croaked like a rat in his bunker after bringing utter destruction and total defeat to his once-proud country? That Saint Hitler? The one who made some of the stupidest military decisions in history and whose legacy was to create a nation of blubbering eunuchs who won't even defend themselves anymore? That's your saint?

  • One bad gato!

  • My Grandfather flew one of these in the Pacific....anti submarine warfare. They have one at the Naval museum in Pensacola FL. It was neat to see it with him before he passed away.

  • "Middle aged sag"? LOL

  • Ac-130 Specter precursor.

  • if you ever get to sit in one, engineers station is in wing root with windows to view engine gauges in nacelles. This is a nice history piece of things plane was used for besides search and rescue.

  • for a second there i thought it was Godzilla

  • U.S NAVY propaganda at its best during WW2...

    ... fantastic, versatile seaplane even though " antique @ 4yrs old" :)

  • "Antiques at 4 years old", that blew me away!

Some of these things still fly today.

  • Man they talked some shit back then.

  • love these videos~!!!!

  • I remember reading that be early 42, there were just 2 allied planes the Japs feared. One the Catalina, the other the Hurricane. When flown by experienced crews and with the correct tactics, both in their own ways could be very effective

  • My Dad was in these Black Cats- they flew missions spying on Japanese transmission, looking for radar and even jamming.

  • Amazing doc !

  • Very nice old short movie.
