@aasm7 yeah, when dynasty warriors 4 came i was like, wtf? back to dw3... when dynasty warriors 5 came i was like, wtf? back to dw3 xl... then when dynasty warriors 6 came i was, wtf? back to dw3 empires.. but wtf? no empires?! sigatakistektade!!!

@aasm7 dude yeah, all of the stages should be remade, updated like Tekken 5 to Tekken 6 (smooth & stylish, ps2 to ps3 or xbox to whatever) or mgs1 shadow moses to mgs4 shadow moses, and each char should have their own unique combos again. I was thinking like, Dynasty Warriors 8 -- but the 8 is kind of faded on the left side so you can see a kind of faint 3 inside the eight -- a Dynasty Warriors 3 remake xD with all of the new characters and the new stages they'd need. i wish i worked 4 koei :']

isn't cao cao the best character to use on very hard? i mean he nearly one-hits every officer/ commander

@KingJaz17 Well Xiahou Yuan(w/ 5th weap) and Cao Cao are superior. I don't have this game, but this is not Gan Ning's best setup. Gan Ning is way stronger with Scroll of Accuracy. Maybe Gan Ning w/ SoA, he can face multi officers in Very Hard mode in Battle of Hefei (Wei).

I'm not sure but in DW4 and DW5 you can max it

nothing stops you it's just because the weapons didn't come with attributes until DW4 & DW5. The attributes that come with your weapon are health, attack, defense, speed and many others when you beat a stage in Free Mode or Mousou Mode. If you had a weapon that has health as an attribute it will extend your health bar.

and when i say maxed out...like COMPLETELY maxed out not just on charecter selection.

In DW3, if your character is completely maxed on the character select screen then he is maxed. The only reason their stats don't reach all the way at the end on the battle preparation area is because it also takes into account the stats the weapons give the person.

..... as well as the items equipped. Only Lu Bu can do this because his 4th weapon gives him Life +90, Musou +90, Attack +30, and Defense +60. No other characters' 4th give that much stats. Equip him with the proper items and all 4 stats will reach the end.

@guambombboy Actually you can do this with all characters by getting the highest rank,Get the highest increase,attack,increase defense by taking down officers in the later levels and finding the secret hidden items tht increase life and musou.

Alright...I got the health down (finally) so I got 7 people completely maxed out--Lu Xun, Da Qiao, Xiao Qiao, Lu Bu, Sun Ce, Huang Zhong....

You are correct. In Gan Ning's case, his normal one does a crap load of damage.

And on that difficulty it basically -is- instant death. I remember I survived long enough once to get there and triggered it when a mass of my allies (All that was left) were around me. I died pretty much instantly after, and I didn't even see half of the arrows! I swear they all just targeted me and ignored my allied troops.
