The US is becoming like or made to become like Russia. Strong military and the industry behind it that will fatten those involved and then on the other side you have a mediocre society just getting by, too stupid to do anything thanks to the propagandist media.
fuckyouyama is an idiot neo-con. this chink is there just because he echos their garbage. neo-cons are all zionist jews so they need few non jews to look more inclusive,
Look, a country with large populations with large lifestyles can't last long at all because there wouldn't be enough money to go along. Then there is just rich people who control the money, poor people who can't find jobs because someone else will do the exact same work for less and basically anarchy for the economy. The plan is this, stop outsourcing, then put minimum wage to a new low, allow job growth through government and corporations by making minimum wage. Most likely, its too late
A global depression just doesn't happen. Where has all our money gone? Goldman Sachs. The countries that have unelected officials (should be called by their prober titles of servants), Italy and Greece, who are these people? Who did they both work for and advise? Goldman Sachs. Who are the biggest investors in China in the last decade? Goldman Sachs. And if you think they won't implement 3rd world dictatorship to the max, out come the airborne ebola virus. 99% dead. All planed!
Every time us as consumers buy goods on the cheap and don't support our local farmer or butchers, we are guilty in aiding the destruction of the free market and middle class. The NDAA just passed in the US states ANY PERSON CAN BE IMPRISONED/MURDERED WITHOUT EVIDENCE, JUDGE OR JURY IF THE GOVERNMENT FEELS YOU ARE A TERRORIST. The end of the free market and middle class...in steps total chaos from a mass underclass. Then comes the order, out of chaos. Remember Bush stating this...?
I hope people understand that China are only surpassing the US and other European countries because the globalist have their investments in China, where they have people working 12-hour shifts for less than £5 a day, with deductions if toilet breaks are taken. By the same token, give tax incentives to companies in the West to ship their industry to China. They want to destroy the free market & middle class & make 1st world countries into 3rd world...it's done by design. Look up the Club of Rome.
U know why? Because Chinese do not spend too much like America on overseas military... That is why they have wall street occupy!! Support wall street occupy. The whole American construction was not right...
America's economic foundation is crumbling. For this reason, we must lean to the right -- allowing our conservative roots to thrive. We must concentrate on America's traditional foundation -- small farms. Basically, growing food. And we must strengthen our sense of family and community to build a spirit of brotherhood/sisterhood again, lifting our morale.
Then we must copy the geniuses -- in the arts, technology, sciences, academics, military, learning from their examples.
If the United States doesn't trade with anyone, every American will be working. If China doesn't trade with anyone, most Chinese will be without a job.
The current China will never be a challenge to the United States because this Chinese rise is only temporary. Once the world is no longer able to provide room for Chinese growth, China will be stuck. China's lack of freedom in society and creativity is their own curse.
@michael616joaquin Do some more research, experts are saying China has the largest bubble in history yet to come. China produces far much then they consume! They consume to lowest share of GDP ever recorded! They depend so heavily on foreign demand for it's good. China needs to buy more of it's own stuff, and stop trying to sell as much to other countries like the USA, or it will face a serious debt crisis! Don't listen to RT, they are not experts! Experts are experts because they know!
if only every1 learned muay thai, the human race would get along so well, and be like. How have u been, dude? How is ur training going? Oh man, i am feeling better than ever, wanna c feel the power of my round kick? Alright, let's go sparring.
We, China don't want to be Number one, we just want our citizens to have a better life, and heavier. No longer to be looked down by the whites and the rest of the world.
@alexcrixus HAHA. That HAS to be sarcasm. That's exactly the opposite of what your government is doing. That's why the Average Chinese guy makes about 5k a year, whereas the average American makes 42k.
@walle1999 Name an invention that came from China in the last 200 years, and i'l match you, plus one-up you with an American invention (mind you there are 3 Chinese people for every 1 American) (*Probably 4-1 now*)
@TumisHumis Ever since the mongol took over China, its technological advances have been pretty much halted, China in order to catch up for the lost years are just copying/reverse engineering because its the most cost efficient and quickest way. Chinese technological advances has only come rather recently, in the last couple of decades in fact, one example is higher yielding hybrid rice.
@TumisHumis To your earlier post, in nominal GDP per capita terms China won't surpass most of the western nations for at least 5 or more decades, however taking into PPP due to the significantly cheaper goods/costs of living. I can say perhaps in 20 - 30 years times the standard of living will be similar.
@walle1999 At this current rate, but economies are ciclical, no economy grows 10%/y and no economy drops 10%/y for more than 3 years. They're miles behind and it would take decades even at this rate to change that.
@TumisHumis China has maintained largely a 8-9% growth per annum for the last 30 years. What you say is largely true for developed economies, but china is still an emerging economy it still has vast amounts of labor and capital to maintain such growth.
Someone please explain how in God's fucking name Chinks are over 1 billion strong??? When the fuck have you ever seen a Chink display any signs of having a libido?? You know, like normal men? And yet they somehow have reproduced like rabbits on ecstasy. Un-fucking-believable!
Chinks don't DESERVE power and prosperity. I bet their women's vags smell like rotting fish even when they don't have an infection. Of course it's common knowledge that you have to use a microscope to see a Chink's penis.
China has learned its lessons from bitter wars, humiliation and failure through blood and tears. Luckily China had the major attitude change back in 1978; they had the guts to admit their past mistakes and were humble enough to learn from others and actively seek better alternatives. They are clever enough to realize that no man-made rule is ever universal, not even the democracy and capitalism that western people are worshipping like their gods. Be experimental & open-minded and be humble!
american dreams are over. accept that fact. stop dream america. you think you stil own the world. LOL Only China can save US and Europe. Now you work for the Chinese. LOL History tells that power shift to creditors. IMF chief Christine Legarde would probably be the last non Chinese IMF Chief
China had the strongest economy for 18 continuous centuries (~1,800 years) until the 1800s (century of humiliation, every country has one of those), so China overtaking the US in economy in the future? I am not surprised.
This guy is completely incorrect! If China keeps relying on foreign trades that means they are relying on other countries to keep them going! If other countries fall this means China falls with them! Read some info from "Experts" who know what they are talking about and you will see what I am talking about! RT is a load of crap! They are ran by people with $ not honest people! Don't be a fool and believe the media, come on! Don't be retarded! Read what true experts are saying! Gezz!
When people in the USA back in year 2000 were working alot, and people were working overtime no one seemed to think we would hit a recession! The experts were saying we are going to hit a recession but no one believed it! Now look at China, experts are saying they will hit a HUGE housing bubble much worse then the USA! They are building and no one is occupying the buildings! Sounds like what happened in the USA! Only the future will tell!
@jacobg1777 By any logical economic viewpoint, the more of those you have (demand) the less they cost (price), as they two are negatively correlated. The high prices in Chinese real estate is most likely not correlated at all with the construction of places like New Ordos.
The Chinese never released real reasons why they built these massive cities that no one occupies yet. But thinking about it pratically, it is planning ahead for China's 51% rural population that will one day rapidly urbanize.
@Ravensteinzh What stopped China, or rather halted their progress was the invention of china. Soon after in Europe, glass was invented, but China was happy with their china, and so medicine and understanding health, products etc. all became much more advanced in Europe because of glass. China only really changed this policy under Chairman Mao...another great human being...60-80 million of his own people...just dead. Your government is doing the same today, only soft kill. Why cancer increasing?
Jospehporta thats the problem of some americans that they dont want to accept the fact that their boss is asian, but i admire their hardwork and honesty though
@Jospehporta last time i checked, our economy wasn't built upon unsustainable debt. it is in debt now due to unstable spending practices promoted by the government starting in the late 70s. Every country has debt however. except most of the oil rich nations
@tehatemachine The US govt has almost always been in debt, but that is nothing compared to the debt held by the private sector. Almost every US household carries a large debt burden and most of them are struggling to pay it off. That my friend is unsustainable.
@iyaboy888 I'm Armenian and I think Asians are ugly gooks. I would much rather have beautiful Caucasians rule the world than fishy smelling Chinks who sound funny & ALL have motherfucking brown eyes. It's like you all were cut out with the same cookie cutter! Take your funky ass culture, your scary looking anime, your temples, your street vendors selling fried dough, your dragon floats and shove it up a panda's ass! I hope I'm dead before China becomes the most powerful country.
You don't like asians and your Armenian and proud. Confused are we? What good have Armenians contributed to the world. Asians are more sophisticated and successful than Armenians will ever be. Armenia is a fuckin shit hole full of whores and corrupt politicians. Armenians are fifth grade citizens even in Africa. God damn dude don't go telling people that. I think you have just got to deal with the fact that China & India are the drivers of the Global economy............So fuck off!
china is the only country in the world that make up numbers for their gdp. their economy isn't even real. the make up number so their people wont revolt. no country will do anything about it because the US. the US borrows money that doesn't even exist. everyone knows it
War is like a third world war occur. In the war to make money and do not think lobbyists. Overcome the obstruction to the war situation in each country government is not used. Differences in types of war refugee problem by insurgents fighting the Mafia and resource disputes, however, is still happening. Regional political instability and human rights abuses against the local, the United Nations an enhanced Once direct rule to allow the dispatch of troops and a deadline to resolve.
@LadyCaricata Wow, I am not American myself btw. But this was like some sort of gibbering propaganda pamphlet paragraph. Still, your entitled to your own opinion. We have that in the west, minds of our own that is. (or at least some of us here do). Let us hope that China manage to do something positive with leadership in the worlds economy. Personally, I very much doubt that this will be the case but I would love to be proved wrong on this point. Time will tell.
@SymonDymond My friend, I respect the comments with you, myself, Lady C ,and others. It shows there are educated thinkers on this site rather than 15-25 year olds who jerks off and hold on to perceptions of nations from 30 years ago. Your doubt is being disproven as we speak. True communism will not have allowed China to do what they are doing today. People do not understand so they hate. For EX Uneducated people will think Macedonians are Greek and in economic trouble when you are totally not.
@arodspecialist Are you calling me Macedonian because I have a business in Macedonia? I am English if that is relevant. There is a good example of why I dont understand you. If you were not here to plant propaganda or other bullshit then you wouldnt even be on youtube in the first place as its blocked in china.
@SymonDymond You got me wrong. A quick glance revealed you are from Macedonia and having been to that part of the world, there is great resentment of Macedonians being called Greek. I was using that information to make a distinct comparison in how other nations can perceive you wrongly if they do not understand your culture. Youtube is blocked in China but I work in Shanghai and the Bay Area, so during flight times, I love to read and communicate with good folks like you. Propaganda? Hardly.
@SymonDymond Me trying to spread or plant BS, please. This vid barely have enough views for me to be interested if I was spreading propaganda. Debating is a great way to acquire knowledge of other cultures and unfortunately my Chinese people have been on the edge of a hook in recent years due to their rise. Again, go back to the comments. I never made any attempt to offend people because that is not my way. My posts here has always been a response to others who have commented on me. Thanks.
@arodspecialist Ok. Lets say you made a mistake then. But to be clear. I am English. The fact remains. Youtube is blocked in China. I passed some of your comments on to a friend of mine who works in the UK but is actually chinese. He is pretty patriotic himself although he is an intellectual but recognises the limitations of withholding information to the people. Like myself he came to the conclusion that maybe your perhaps second generaiton chinese and never lived there? Have a nice week.
@SymonDymond Maybe others, but if you must know. Born in Shanghai China, worked for Chinese embassy in California, married a Chinese American, and now work for Roche in Shanghai. I have friends on both sides so like stated previsously, very interested, proud, and concerned with both nation's affairs. Send my warm regards to your friend. I rarely get on anymore due to idiots, but people like you makes conversation worth while during my 15 hour flight times. Yes, they have Youtube on Air China.
@myfunkychannel Agreed, and they never truly were. They're leaning toward more of a socialistic/capitalistic point of view now. Their elite has become the very thing that they created a bloody revolution against... Same with America. The Bourgeois always finds a way to sneak into the system somehow.
@LadyCaricata No country that has nukes in abundance canbe considered "peaceful" in my humble opinion. Especially when they take over neighbouring countries and refuse to give them back. China is no better or worse than the Japan, Colonial Britain, or todays US. To me, what matters is the free thought of the individual people within the country. There, in particular. China is pretty scarey. They generally believe all they are told (in the main).
@LadyCaricata Very well said seniorita. We even forgave the Japanese and did not pursue their war criminals. The funny thing is that Japan has always denied mass slaughterings despite pcitorial prove (US shot the pictures actually). To peace.
The rise of US, like the rise of Europe, is a product of history. The Bristish empire, at its height, was twice the size of USSR and a lot more powerful (relatively to the time) than US ever was.
Then world war I and II become along. The two wars pretty much bled the European powers dry while US is safely behind two oceans.
The modern dominance of US really doesn't have that much to do whether the nation is democratic or not. Historic chance plays a much more important role.
@qichen85 Dear friend, I read everything and agree. Aside from history playing itself out, I also believe certain nations also need to go the right direction or seize the moment. Britain did after beating Spain and so the did the US against Britain. The circle comes back to China. After 150+ years of foreign invasion which prompted Chinese people to rise against the weak Qing. The dust settled with the Communist winning that coin toss for China. They are seizing the moment currently.
@arodspecialist Do you really believe this? Your as blind as the yanks. We are all being blinded by the media put out by out our countries here. WAKE UP and learn how to excercise some free thought. Our economies are all intrinsically linked. Particularly that of China and the US. Currently China owns the papers on a US debt which may be worth nothing. On the other hand, China cannot walk away from a debt this deep. You guys are partners, like it or not.
The mongol invasion left a deep mark on the Asian powers. I can't speak for India and Muslim nations, but China was left weakened to the point which the Ming dynasty's border never become secure. Near the end of Ming dynasty, the nation was hit by barbonic plague (black death) and opened the door to invasion by another normadic race, which led to the semi-colonial Qing dynasty. It is no wonder by the time European arrived, ancient China was powerless to fight back.
After absorbing resource and technology from China, the Mongol army was able toto attack India, Persia and the Muslim countries in general. After conquring and killing much of the world, they have to leave Europe alone because the their leader died. With the Muslim and Asia empires destroyed, Europe was free to become the new dominant power. Historians often credit the Renaissance as the beginning of European domiance. It is not a coincidence Renaissance occured right after the Mongol invasion.
Then it comes the Mongols. Essentially, the Mongols got really lucky in their fledging stage. Their first opponent, the Jin empire was suffering from internal conflict. Since Jin was the main enemy of the Chinese Song empire, the Chinese actually supported the Mongols to fight the Jin since Song is suffering internal problems as well. This gives the Mongols the chance to seize control of Jin and turns on Song.
One of the key thing in this video is the statement that a nation assuming that its superiority is inborn rather than a product of complex history. For example, nations like Persia, China and India was very powerful during the ancient time because their geographic location gave them fertile land and their immediate neighour occupies harsher locations and thus weaker than them. This allows the ancient powers to grow and become strong.
As for SymonDymond, he is right in one sense as my country's history has always been violent to establish new dynasties. But we have never attacked others due to our respect for others.
I dont know why China and the US guys are arguing here. The US made China successful, you wanted everything and you wanted it cheap. China was happy to oblige. If you want to blame anyone, blame walmart and anyone who buys the products. As for China, china would still be a joke if it wasnt for exportsw to the US and a surprisingly small number of countries. That makes you vulnerable.
@SymonDymond Dear freind, I can always back up facts so ask me anytime. But according to the US Dept of Commerce (2009 report) US business is only 23.46% of China's revenue. There are currently 30000+ companies and countries that deal with China and despite the global recession, China still makes $256B in revenue yearly. It is a steep drop from $356B, but my people handles it well. The question is can the 5600+ US companies live without China's production. EX: Apple, HP, Walmart, GM, Chevy, etc
@arodspecialist ONLY 23.46%!. I have seen higher. lets assume for a moment that the figures you have are correct ( world bank and other figures which would disagree with that) The loss of around 10% of GDP would send the economy into a totally irretrievable spiral as it would for most developed countries. Indeed, even now there is panic among my friends in the hedge fund and investment business about some predictions for the near future of the US and Asian markets on the basis of maybe 5%.
@SymonDymond Again, I do not disagree with you because those figures are from the 2009 US Dept of Commerce. It definitely may be higher by now. However, the global recession did hit the US which in turn affected China. From a $356B surplus in 2008 period, that number drastically dropped to $256B currently. Our double digit GDP growth on average of 15% are now below 7%. In short, we survived, and we will survive a US meltdown as well. Not looking forward to it, but we will. CONTINUED.
@SymonDymond I travel both lands due to my work. I truely love every bit America has to offer and even more proud that my motherland had the balls to walk away from Mao-Stalin era doctrines which simply does not work. However, I often see 13-25 year olds on here talking the same way present US congress men do: BS. NAFTA, ill-advised spending, two ongoing wars, and 6x the amount of military spending is killing the US. I wish the US can learn from others as we have from the US. Pride kills.
@LadyCaricata Because China is so moral and a kind nurturing influence. I am not US but man your out of your mind. Money doesnt flow towards the benign.
I hope this message finds you haters well. In the last 30 years, our leaders (not perfect) risked lives to change China away from the extrmely strict Mao Doctrine to avoid a crisis like former USSR. They succeeded & continued to improve. We have way too many people and way too different of a culture to be fully Democratic, but we are opening upstill. US problems are strictly US. I mean who spends $7T on wars with no gain? And the internal dis-unity. You slow down enough, people will catch up.
This man has more sense than Congress in its entirety. It is nice to hear someone tell it like it is rather than make excuses in an attempt to circumvent the truth. RT should interview him regularly about economic matters.
God damn it, some of my happiest days at work were in computer manufacturing factories. Those jobs and those days are gone. Our once 'great' (read: lucky) country is beaten, soon it will be all over but the crying. The one good thing is that the pervasive hubris that had a part in getting us here may be replaced with a bit of humility, as we schlep into line with the rest of the world, and as our empire fades. It's time to stop acting like spoiled children.
@SimulatedlPuppet I don't! I would rather the Swedes or the Germans became the leaders of the world, not these SHORT, SMALL-EYED, STRAIGHT BLACK HAIRED, **UGLY** FUCKING CHINKS! I do NOT want their ugly, foreign culture to become mainstream in the West! I don't want to see ugly Chink faces everywhere I look! I want to see round-eyed white people and hear only European languages, not Chinky Asian speak like "Ching chong ting tong ling wong"!
Tbh i think usa is falling becuase of its education, look at it and compare it with china, or look at ur kids what do they care, sex girls ... (i am a teenager too) whereas kids in china they work hard till 12 at night...
@ghosthost3 just wanted to correct u its 11 aircraft carriers, 3 underconstruction and 1 in reserve, but dont forgot china might have EMP and the "kill weapon" asbm 2000km range, also with a warhead capable of destroying a super aircraftcarrier
If America got in a war with china, china would have no chance. More than half of there population are starving as it is. All you have to do is target and bomb some of there dams and there screwed . Plus people are making a big deal about the SIZE of chinas army. The only way you could get them even near Hawaii is by boat and last time I checked America has the largest navy with 14 aircraftcarriers and more coming . Look at the fact and tactics before you judge plus look at the allies America w
@GhostHost3 sorry, but you should first get your facts right. Its a long time ago that "halt of the population of china" has been starving. And as for the U.S. chances to win a war against China? Certainly there is a good chance the U.S. would win a conventional war. But what then? The U.S. isnt even able to properly finish the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and is already completely broke. And by the way: as soon as there is a war between U.S and China then China will freeze credit to U.S...
@GhostHost3 Oh and another thing: The U.S. record of winning wars in asia in the last fifty years is, well, to say the least: not very encouraging. War in Korea? Complete fuck-up. War in Vietnam? Lets not talk about that. And the only reason the U.S. can still pay their army/navy/airforce/marines is because the Chinese lend them the money for doing so, so how do you think the U.S. could lead a war against China?
@technatezin EXACTLY!!! China has more than enough "carrier-killer" missiles! Now the US has to defend ALL 14 carriers... it's called turning your perceived strength into a weakness.
@BLAQBUCK They recently improvised on the DF-21 as simulation shows very low chances that it will make it through a carrier fleets air missile defenses. However the DF-22 has extra features such as 2.3 times higher speed, higher attitude capacity, and radar repelling outer covering. Those has a 79% accuracy rate to hit a moving carrier if enough (like 50) are sent towards a carrier fleet. Not bad.
@GhostHost3 Plese forgive my colleagues as they may be harsh to your comment. But to be honest, you left key factors which I hope to elaborate. For whatever it is worth, US military is still number one. For a country that is barely 300 years old to dominate like that, it is very respectable. Now, your military schools and officers training elites read Sun Tzu. In his Art of War, to achieve absolute victory, a nation must have people, military, and leaders in unity. Does the US have that? CONT
@GhostHost3 China is arming themselves for national defense, because after all, we got fucked by foreigners for 125+ years. Their increased military might is to deter the US or others from meddling in "backyard" affairs such as Taiwan. You are right, China will suffer great losses should they attack a US targets, but they can slaughter the US if they intervened with Taiwan. Of course, people always mention "nuke them chinks," but that is an illusion. Under the Non-Proliferation treaty CONTINUED
@GhostHost3 NWS (Nuclear Weapon State) can not just fire off a round without giving others green light to retalliate. With Frendliness Treaty, Russia must assist with full military if China asked or vise-versa. Just think. Are the 65 subs, 55 attack ships, 26 amphibious battalions (300K men), 300+ missile batteries, 4 air fields (900+ 3-4 generation fighters) all stationed within 50 miles off the Taiwan Strait for the US? And yes, we built the DF-22 aircraft killer. 79% accuracy within 900 miles
For all people around the world, especially Americans, who dismiss China's rise to power as merely deceptive, refer to what Napoleon Bonaparte, the great French general himself, once admonished to history: "Let China sleep, for when she wakes she will shake the world."
China is solely dependent on the USA. Period.....it is as simple as this....once America stops buying Chinese products and goods...it is CHINA that is fucked. Not the other way around. From chop sticks to TV's.....a fair chunk of the Chinese still live in mud huts in the middle of nowhere. 2016? I don't think so.
@IAmCanadianUK Chinas purchasing power parity which is how much their civilians have to spend may surpass USA in 2016 but only in paper [Chinas infamous for exaggerating their economic data].
China does depend on Americans buying their products but we also depend on China to make our products cheap [Meicans or Vietmenese can make it cheap but not as cheap due to Chinas undervalued currency].
The average Chinese wont have a living standard as good as the average American for millenia.
China is bound by amercian customers look at it this way.......if u owned a business and no customers bought from ur business then would u even have a business?????? If china ever tries to go to war with the u.s we would block their trade routes and their economy would drop back to 1600's not to mention america owns all the oceans in the world therfore easy to block trade routes//
@shumockricky America is powerful for now...but the tides are changing, you have to realise that. Just because China is now maybe still depending on US economy doesn't mean that it will always stay that way. I'm certain eventually China will find a solution for that and once it does the USA is pretty much fucked.
The US needs to stop caring about the rest of the world. It's time they injected their cash for domestic needs and paying of their debts so that they could regain power and create jobs and move towards economic growth. Chinas success would not be for long as the US has a competitive advantage over China which is the Technological Power not to mention that the fastest growing industry is the High tech industry. All what China has is its pool of labor which would one day crash.
china will stay with capitalism. capitalism saved china, and in return, china saved capitalism. don't worry, the world wont change much. but wit less war though. :) the greatest story of our time. the again, rise of china. the worlds oldest nation is coming back to take the throne as leader.
There's no evidence to suggest they'll overtake the US. Is the problem in the US serious? Yes. But does that mean china will overtake the US? Not necessarily. Same predictions were made in the 1980's about Japan.
China lacks innovation and is stuck in the manufacturing ghetto.
Just look at tiny Japan which is the 2nd largest economy .. then there is Korea and the rest of South East Asian countries emerging from dusts ... the whole Asia, China and even India must be doing something right and we are certainly doing something wrong...
@codexox1 like having no problem in buying in bulk the cheap, low grade chinese products and increasing their economy but fuming over the outsourcing to call centers to india. lol!
@berguss22 u people are fucking idiots. why would you want china to surpass us? im just going to be laughing the day one of your country gets blown up & the US wont be there to help! the Americans are allies w/ most european countries & china is an isolated country that contains over 1 BILLION asians & are ALL POOR! the government has all the power and money while there working class earns 10 cents an hour u fucking moron. thats not cool!
@riverjudephoenix1993 And what exactly do you mean with "isolated"? China has been opening up for more than 30 years; that's not exactly "isolated".
The part of your comment in which you rant about "1 billion asians being poor" doesn't even deserve to be rebuffed, because everybody (including you & me) knows that its a stupid and baseless argumentation.
You are right. I'm Italian and I don't understand why so many people can be happy to see China, a totalitarian regime, which controlls every aspects of its citizen's life, surpass U.s.a, where a person can say everything but that there is no democracy. We must boycott china's goods!
@riverjudephoenix1993 earn 10 cents? are you fucking retard ???? average working class earn 10-30 dollars a day in china , you fucking moron shut fuck up stop talking shit
America is only good at making weapons which they can't sell to the Chinese. So China asks: you want me to lower your deficit, what can I buy? For machines and cars, I buy from Germany and Japan. They are also high cost countries but they have trade surplus. So even if Chinese yuan appreciates, but the U.S. economic structure doesn't changes, it just means China will buy more, but not from the U.S, but from other countries. U.S. needs to start put its money and focus where its mouth is.
I don't see the US hegemony ending at all. The US economy is so much more advanced than China, and the consumers are much more affluent and buy more stuff than the Chinese can afford. HIgh growth of China is due to the fact that there is a lot of room for growth as opposed to the US which is already a developed economy. I can see the Yuan becoming a regional currency but not much beyond that. The US will not decline however the % of world GDP will go down due to China.
@jayrodbtown78102 why? all this clip is saying that total GDP china will surpass the US. Does that mean that US hegemony will end when that happens? Not necessarily. There is more to the US than surpass it by total GDP. You have to at least show significant quality improvement such as technology. I don't see that happening by 2016. It may happen further along in the future but not by 2016. Also for the last 30 years china got here by primarily by cheap exports. it has to make bigger inroads in
@jayrodbtown78102 why is it so dumb? are you basing that the hegemony of the US purely due to total GDP being larger than everybody else. I think you need to base it on more than just total GDP.
bullshit, look at the riots in egypt ect... they block certain social media sites to stop rebellion and anti government information among the youth, it has nothing to do with american globalization.
Only the Nation is Tupid Enough try to be a super power. History teach us most of them they die first. You need to spent tremendous amount of resources to keep that nation in that position. US example. Trillions of Dollar of Defense Project that never come to happend.
The US is becoming like or made to become like Russia. Strong military and the industry behind it that will fatten those involved and then on the other side you have a mediocre society just getting by, too stupid to do anything thanks to the propagandist media.

HOW TO FIX THE ECONOMY

@TumisHumis Ever since the mongol took over China, its technological advances have been pretty much halted, China in order to catch up for the lost years are just copying/reverse engineering because its the most cost efficient and quickest way. Chinese technological advances has only come rather recently, in the last couple of decades in fact, one example is higher yielding hybrid rice.
walle1999 4 months ago
@TumisHumis To your earlier post, in nominal GDP per capita terms China won't surpass most of the western nations for at least 5 or more decades, however taking into PPP due to the significantly cheaper goods/costs of living. I can say perhaps in 20 - 30 years times the standard of living will be similar.
walle1999 4 months ago
@walle1999 At this current rate, but economies are ciclical, no economy grows 10%/y and no economy drops 10%/y for more than 3 years. They're miles behind and it would take decades even at this rate to change that.
TumisHumis 4 months ago
@TumisHumis China has maintained largely a 8-9% growth per annum for the last 30 years. What you say is largely true for developed economies, but china is still an emerging economy it still has vast amounts of labor and capital to maintain such growth.

They are building and no one is occupying the buildings! Sounds like what happened in the USA! Only the future will tell!
jacobg1777 3 months ago
@jacobg1777 By any logical economic viewpoint, the more of those you have (demand) the less they cost (price), as they two are negatively correlated. The high prices in Chinese real estate is most likely not correlated at all with the construction of places like New Ordos.
The Chinese never released real reasons why they built these massive cities that no one occupies yet. But thinking about it pratically, it is planning ahead for China's 51% rural population that will one day rapidly urbanize.
Ravensteinzh 3 months ago 2
@Ravensteinzh What stopped China, or rather halted their progress was the invention of china. Soon after in Europe, glass was invented, but China was happy with their china, and so medicine and understanding health, products etc. all became much more advanced in Europe because of glass. China only really changed this policy under Chairman Mao...another great human being...60-80 million of his own people...just dead. Your government is doing the same today, only soft kill. @SymonDymond You got me wrong. A quick glance revealed you are from Macedonia and having been to that part of the world, there is great resentment of Macedonians being called Greek.

Historic chance plays a much more important role.
qichen85 6 months ago
@qichen85 Dear friend, I read everything and agree. Aside from history playing itself out, I also believe certain nations also need to go the right direction or seize the moment. Britain did after beating Spain and so the did the US against Britain. The circle comes back to China. After 150+ years of foreign invasion which prompted Chinese people to rise against the weak Qing. The dust settled with the Communist winning that coin toss for China. They are seizing the moment currently.
arodspecialist 6 months ago 21

It is no wonder by the time European arrived, ancient China was powerless to fight back.
qichen85 6 months ago
After absorbing resource and technology from China, the Mongol army was able toto attack India, Persia and the Muslim countries in general. After conquring and killing much of the world, they have to leave Europe alone because the their leader died. With the Muslim and Asia empires destroyed, Europe was free to become the new dominant power. Historians often credit the Renaissance as the beginning of European domiance. It is not a coincidence Renaissance occured right after the Mongol invasion.
qichen85 6 months ago
Then it comes the Mongols. Essentially, the Mongols got really lucky in their fledging stage. Their first opponent, the Jin empire was suffering from internal conflict. Since Jin was the main enemy of the Chinese Song empire, the Chinese actually supported the Mongols to fight the Jin since Song is suffering internal problems as well. This gives the Mongols the chance to seize control of Jin and turns on Song.
qichen85 6 months ago
One of the key thing in this video is the statement that a nation assuming that its superiority is inborn rather than a product of complex history. For example, nations like Persia, China and India was very powerful during the ancient time because their geographic location gave them fertile land and their immediate neighour occupies harsher locations and thus weaker than them. This allows the ancient powers to grow and become strong.

If you want to blame anyone, blame walmart and anyone who buys the products. As for China, china would still be a joke if it wasnt for exportsw to the US and a surprisingly small number of countries. That makes you vulnerable.
SymonDymond 7 months ago
@SymonDymond Dear freind, I can always back up facts so ask me anytime. But according to the US Dept of Commerce (2009 report) US business is only 23.46% of China's revenue. There are currently 30000+ companies and countries that deal with China and despite the global recession, China still makes $256B in revenue yearly. It is a steep drop from $356B, but my people handles it well. The question is can the 5600+ US companies live without China's production. EX: Apple, HP, Walmart, GM, Chevy, etc
arodspecialist 7 months ago
@arodspecialist ONLY 23.46%!. I have seen higher. lets assume for a moment that the figures you have are correct ( world bank and other figures which would disagree with that) The loss of around 10% of GDP would send the economy into a totally irretrievable spiral as it would for most developed countries. Indeed, even now there is panic among my friends in the hedge fund and investment business about some predictions for the near future of the US and Asian markets on the basis of maybe 5%.
SymonDymond 7 months ago
@SymonDymond Again, I do not disagree with you because those figures are from the 2009 US Dept of Commerce. It definitely may be higher by now. However, the global recession did hit the US which in turn affected China. From a $356B surplus in 2008 period, that number drastically dropped to $256B currently. Our double digit GDP growth on average of 15% are now below 7%. In short, we survived, and we will survive a US meltdown as well. Not looking forward to it, but we will. CONTINUED.

@SymonDymond I travel both lands due to my work. Plus people are making a big deal about the SIZE of chinas army. The only way you could get them even near Hawaii is by boat and last time I checked America has the largest navy with 14 aircraftcarriers and more coming . Look at the fact and tactics before you judge plus look at the allies America w

@GhostHost3 i bet ur hillbilly ass is feeling safe, eh?
ervin920 7 months ago
@GhostHost3 sorry, but you should first get your facts right. Its a long time ago that "halt of the population of china" has been starving. And as for the U.S. chances to win a war against China? Certainly there is a good chance the U.S. would win a conventional war. But what then? The U.S. isnt even able to properly finish the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and is already completely broke. And by the way: as soon as there is a war between U.S and China then China will freeze credit to U.S...
hoplite669 7 months ago
@GhostHost3 Oh and another thing: The U.S. record of winning wars in asia in the last fifty years is, well, to say the least: not very encouraging. War in Korea? Complete fuck-up. War in Vietnam? Lets not talk about that. And the only reason the U.S. can still pay their army/navy/airforce/marines is because the Chinese lend them the money for doing so, so how do you think the U.S. could lead a war against China?
hoplite669 7 months ago
@GhostHost3 "America has the largest navy with 14 aircraftcarriers..."
LOL! Keep building those aircraft carriers. They make great big floating targets for missiles and subs.
technatezin 7 months ago
@technatezin EXACTLY!!! China has more than enough "carrier-killer" missiles! Now the US has to defend ALL 14 carriers... it's called turning your perceived strength into a weakness.
BLAQBUCK 7 months ago

Under the Non-Proliferation treaty CONTINUED
arodspecialist 7 months ago

IAmCanadianUK 7 months ago

If china ever tries to go to war with the u.s we would block their trade routes and their economy would drop back to 1600's not to mention america owns all the oceans in the world therfore easy to block trade routes//
shumockricky 8 months ago
@shumockricky America is powerful for now...but the tides are changing, you have to realise that. Just because China is now maybe still depending on US economy doesn't mean that it will always stay that way. I'm certain eventually China will find a solution for that and once it does the USA is pretty much fucked.
KhemAndKurami 8 months ago
The US needs to stop caring about the rest of the world. It's time they injected their cash for domestic needs and paying of their debts so that they could regain power and create jobs and move towards economic growth. Chinas success would not be for long as the US has a competitive advantage over China which is the Technological Power not to mention that the fastest growing industry is the High tech industry. All what China has is its pool of labor which would one day crash.

There's no evidence to suggest they'll overtake the US. Is the problem in the US serious? Yes. But does that mean china will overtake the US? Not necessarily. Same predictions were made in the 1980's about Japan.
China lacks innovation and is stuck in the manufacturing ghetto.

and how is America in any way a great power if she is excessively indebted to her primary geostrategic rival?
Phead128 8 months ago
@Phead128 America is hardly a great power anymore economy wise. The dollar has been in constant freefall due to the amount of debt America is in.
Still I don't understand how China is communist. China is as capitalist as it gets.

USA! USA!! USA!!!
riverjudephoenix1993 9 months ago
@riverjudephoenix1993 And what exactly do you mean with "isolated"? China has been opening up for more than 30 years; that's not exactly "isolated".
The part of your comment in which you rant about "1 billion asians being poor" doesn't even deserve to be rebuffed, because everybody (including you & me) knows that its a stupid and baseless argumentation.

U.S. needs to start put its money and focus where its mouth is.
weiminma88 9 months ago
I don't see the US hegemony ending at all. The US economy is so much more advanced than China, and the consumers are much more affluent and buy more stuff than the Chinese can afford. HIgh growth of China is due to the fact that there is a lot of room for growth as opposed to the US which is already a developed economy. I can see the Yuan becoming a regional currency but not much beyond that. The US will not decline however the % of world GDP will go down due to China.
redwhitedude 9 months ago
@redwhitedude dat was really dumb what you said . listen to yourself
jayrodbtown78102 9 months ago
@jayrodbtown78102 why? all this clip is saying that total GDP china will surpass the US. Does that mean that US hegemony will end when that happens? Not necessarily. There is more to the US than surpass it by total GDP. You have to at least show significant quality improvement such as technology. I don't see that happening by 2016. It may happen further along in the future but not by 2016. Also for the last 30 years china got here by primarily by cheap exports. it has to make bigger inroads in
redwhitedude 9 months ago
@jayrodbtown78102 why is it so dumb? are you basing that the hegemony of the US purely due to total GDP being larger than everybody else. I think you need to base it on more than just total GDP.

Why does China blocks facebook, twitter? Because they are against American Globalization to preserve their own culture.

bullshit, look at the riots in egypt ect... they block certain social media sites to stop rebellion and anti government information among the youth, it has nothing to do with american globalization.
