I'm a smoker & I'm looking to switch to electronic cigarettes to hopefully manually control my nicotine intake (with real cigarettes, you 'have' to finish an entire stick so as not to be wasteful; with ecigs, I could probably just take a couple of puffs and resume later).
But I'm wondering where you are now. So many ecig reviewers from 1-3 years ago disappear off YouTube. Did u guys die or something? I really hope not. No NEW ecig reviews from others either.
First of all the new cartomizers suck ass. They produce next to no vapor and no taste. The old cartridges were actually better and produced and tasted better. Dont even attempt to buy any blu cigs you will be extremely disappointed like I was.
a nice tip is that you can actually pull off a little cap on the bottom of the cartomizer, you can just remove it with your fingernails fairly easy then you can refill them and they work much better than the average carts. I think the new cartomizers are fantastic and they fixed all my problems with my blu (besides the low battery life)
i just got my java jolts and classic tobacco cartridges. Java jolt stinks, and it's like burning inside my mouth, it didn't produce much vapor too. I don't know if it's the cartridge problem. I've tried classic too, so far i think Classic is the best!!! LOL
I agreed that the cartomizers sucks! 1 cartridge exactly only last for around 2-3 days (but it taste good only the first day), and battery ran out so fast. I have only one battery now because the other battery seems have problem, it made me smoke and taste like chemical or burnt plastic. So i return it back to get a new battery.
Since im using blu, i never go back to regular cigs until now. So i guess it works, but the only problem is just the cartomizers~~
Also for those who don't like the blu cartomizers, the 306 cartomizers are said to be much better, are made to be refillable, and fit the blu battery perfectly. they dont come with liquid but anyone who vapes should buy liquid seperately since you can refill the stock blu cartoz a few times as well.
@Jawree1337 I just got my blue cigs 3 days ago and the battery life seems to last the equivalent of about 2-3 real cigarettes...it sucks but the charging pack and spare battery is easily enough for an entire day, it's just a hassle to keep switching batteries. it's not a terrible product, but there are alternatives that are better in every functional way for the same or lower price. Although the aesthetics and the charging pack is quite nice, it's like the Apple brand of the e-cig world.
I ordered Magnificent Menthol and that shit tasted and smelled like BURNT PLASTIC. GROSS!!! I Will NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO USE BLU CARTOMIZERS!!! So thankful I ordered flavors from Volcano the same day. Volcano has great flavors, Blue Water Punch being my fav so far!!! On the Kona Coffee flavor right now.
But The Ecig from BLU (i have the black one) is nice cuz it recharges in the pack, its small n looks good. I like it alot, just the cartridges are motherfuckin garbage.. and with the method i use, the ejuice liquid creates lots of vapor (VG or Vegetable Glycerin creates the best n most vapor fyi if you take the time to look on the ejuice bottle which has it labeled)
So I popped open an old cartomizer cartridge, took the wool out n sized it up into two different pieces - both about the length of the atomizer n wrapped one around the atomizer (stored the other one in my pack). Went to this smoke shop where they sell Ejuice (nicotine liquid) for $4 for a 1oz (30ml) bottle which lasts FOREVER, and just simply dripped onto the wool, slid the empty cartridge back on and smoked my ecig. The freakin cartridges from Blu suck.
So I've had my Blu for over a month now. The freakin cartomizers they sell are garbage. I had the menthol n ya, I ran out of the 5 pack in a WEEK! they burn out quick cuz the ejuice on the wool inside the cartomizer looses its freakin juice quick. I smoke it throughout the day and i'm on a new cartridge in 2 days!
Sooo, this is what I did..
Blu sends you one old style atomizer n tells u to toss it.. I kept it. I took that n I'll explain what i did-keep readin my post..
i've got my new cartomizer and it last for 5 days, i ordered classic tobacco and at the last minute it has a papery taste to it, i dont know why, yeah it creates much more vapor ,delivered fast for 1 week,i would go back to buy johnson creek smoke juice cause i dont smoke a lot and its less expensive though :(
is anyone has the same problem? or maybe just Menthol flavor wasn't that great? After 2days i can feel it burn my tongue, is like some chemical taste and it doesn't taste menthol anymore. I'm trying to order Cherry Crust and let's see if it works better for me. But overall BLU is a good choice to save money for analog, and i got mine only in 5days waiting. ^^

The problem isn't because it doesn't produce vapor anymore, it's still vaporing well but the taste really goes bad after 2days. I bought menthol light flavor and i can only taste it for 2days

i have a question.... ive never smoked e-cigs, but i just placed my order for the blu last night cause i want to stop smoking regular cigs..... so my question is....
does the cart tip have any papery feel to it like a real cigarette? i dont really want something thats gonna feel like a piece of plastic in my mounth. if not then it is what it is, but i just wondered that before it comes in.

@litsk8er0 believe me thou they forget to ship your crap sometimes and you have to wait for them to send it once you contact customer service, I order two things once separately and one that I ordered second came first, I contacted customer service and it took another week to get my second package, so I know they didn't ship it out the first time!

I just ordered this today...it comes with a atomizer, and the cartomizers? Is the atomizer removable? Because I thought the cartomizers were so you didn't have to use an atomizer. Sorry I'm a newb at this too.
