I´m trying to use SD2 with existing midi songs in Sonar 8, by routing the drum track output to SD2. When doing so, the drums are completely out of sync with the other midi instruments. Is this a known issue or am I doing something wrong?

There could be a variety of reasons why you're not hearing sound from your computer. What soundcard are you using? Do you have a MIDI device connected to your computer? Do you get any audio at all from your computer while running the program?

I asked the same question a couple of days agi and used some foul language. They thought enough to delete my post, but not enough to help us out. Use "Create track from template", or insert a soft synth (selecting Session Drummer, of course). If SD doesn't show up in the soft synth menu, then you have not installed it for some reason.

That drum map is actually for use once you have the session drummer inserted.  If you want to insert the Session Drummer, open teh Synth Rack, then click the + button to add an instrument.

Snap to Grid is enabled by Default. You can turn it off and then move clips freely. The button should look like a little four square grid. If you can't find it hover your mouose over buttons, the tooltips will tell you what each thing does. You can also press F1 for help.

I'd hate to ask this, but did you buy the program or download a crack. Many of the cracks out there do not have the content included to keep the file size down. If you did buy the program, then there might be an install issue and I would suggest you contact support, it;'s free.
